Disney extends Buy 4, Get 3 offer

I thought they may extend it as the year went on. I'm booked with a 40%off code for October right now - but 4/3 or free dining (I have the dining plan anyway) would be better deal.

Never mind - the 4/3 deal would only save me about $50.

i appreciate the sentiment but i don't do math (or itineraries).

that said, are you aware that ticket length is independent of package length? and that expiring MYW tickets are good for 14 days after first use? and that they're good indefinitely until you use them?

so you may want to experiment with your ticket options based on just how many days in the 4 main parks you need. especially if you're planning on getting the water park fun & more option. your cheapest option might be to purchase a 10 day ticket with the first package and a 1 day ticket with the second and just keep that ticket indefinitely (or even use it for an 11th day).

I was thinking the same thing about the ten day/one day... clearly disney is always on my brain as I just thought about that while I was in the shower and had to rush out so I could price this out.

Do you know, if I get the 10 day and water park and more... is that technically 20 days worth of things to do? 10 in the parks and 10 doin the water parks and extras?

Does anyone know if I can apply this promotion to an existing room only reservation, or would I have to completely rebook from scratch?

it's 10 park days + 10 visits to the water parks, dq, oak trail golf, wwos. the water park fun & more are a separate form of admission than MYW base tickets and aren't subject to the park hopping rules. so you can visit MK and DQ on the same day without park hopping for example. and visiting multiple plus parks in a day consume take away the multiple visits. so to do DQ and TL in one day is 2 visits that day, leaving 8 (for example).

because the ticket expires 14 days after first use, you can't get 20 days out of it unless you add the no expiration option.

Well.. I think the disney site has officially gotten sick of me pricing vacas... it won't let me try to price out a (fake) vacation in the current 4/3 offer so I can see ticket options.

Does anyone know, am I able to just get the 1 day ticket with the 4/3 or are you required to get all 7 days?

Oh right, I didn't think of that 20 day/14 day math (and I am a math person)... what you said is what I meant in my head though.

I just wish that they'd extend it for 2 days until Aug. 17th, as that's DDs birthday, and I'd love for her to get a "Birthday Gift" from Disney.

My travel agent e-mailed me with the same info. I guess they were given the heads up. We are booked offsite and not sure we want to give that up. It's tempting though.

Tissa, we were also booked offsite until the 4/3 came out for June dates. I had no intentions of being onsite to be honest...until then. I sat down and worked #s over and over and over again and even with the canx fee we had to pay ($100) we still are mostly coming out ahead. I'm coming up with it being about $76 more to stay onsite than off. Would you like to see my calculations? I'm more than happy to PM.

There's no harm in calling and asking. If they say no, I'd rebook b/c you'll get your entire $200 deposit back. :)

I booked the 4/3 deal, but now I'm really hoping they extend the $200 gift card! That would be great :)

does this still come with the $200 gift card??? That is a deciding factor given I have AP passes (and a hopeful room rate code).

You have to rebook from scratch. The CM on the phone will do it all for you in the same phone call.

4/3 package rooms are limited. Just because you already have a room only reservation does not mean you can end up with a 4/3 package at that resort.
Does anyone know, am I able to just get the 1 day ticket with the 4/3 or are you required to get all 7 days?
Yes you can order a 1 day ticket with the 4/3 package. You will still have the 3 more room nights for free but the ticket you receive wil not have any free days added on to it.
