We are coming to DL from Australia and I tried to buy our tickets on-line today through the print at home system however it would not work for me. I am just wondering if anybody knows whether or not visitors from outside of the US have used this system before or is only available to those who live in the US? :confused3

Hi, I used E tickets last year and they printed without a problem. I plan to do the same again this year.

How long are you staying for? Do you know about the 14 day pass that is available for Australians and New Zealanders. Works out only a lite bit more expensive than a 5 day pass!

I remember last year, when they had a special on APs, a few Australian visitors were trying to buy them...some were successful and others had their payment fail. It seemed to depend on exactly what you were paying with (but of course no one shared exactly what sort of payment type they were using).

Be CAREFUL though...I saw on the Budget Board that someone was paying with a Disney Visa rewards card (not the actual visa card, but a card with rewards on it) and a credit card...she got an email that the card hadn't been charged, so she went through again...but it had actually at least partially charged. Kind of a pain. So be careful if you get a message like that. Check your account, make SURE it didn't charge, before trying again.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone - perhaps I will try a different payment method and see if that works. I have emailed Disney but have not received a response as yet.

PoohBear - I have heard of the 14 day pass but we won't be there for long enough to take advantage of it - 6 days is our max.

Thanks again everyone - I will let you know how I go with a different payment method.:goodvibes

Hey, we used those passes last year for 4 day hoppers and the payment went through fine - some credit cards put holds on international transactions as a security feature? We used our mastercard and it worked ok - these passes were so much less hassle than having to line up at the ticket booths, so i hope they work for you!

Have a great trip... :cheer2:

Hey everyone - I tried a different credit card (Visa) and SUCCESS!!

Thanks to all for your help!:thumbsup2

We're travelling to DL from Australia in November 09. Could you please tell me where you get the 14 days passes from? Most packages at the moment only seem to include a 2 or 3 days pass, which, based on my earlier trips, won't be nearly long enough.

Looking at the DL website I think most passes are only valid for 6(?) days. We'll be in Anaheim for at least 10 days. I looked into getting an AP but at least 3 of the days we're there for are black out days, so that seems pointless. :confused3

Thank you!

Thank you!

We booked our holiday through a travel agent, we didnt do a package but created our own which included the 14 day pass.
i know the packages that incl airfares, couple of nights accom and 2 or 3 day passes you can still customise them to add on nights and upgrade to a 14 pass.
i dont have any experience with buying the pass by itself at a travel agent though - not sure if you were booking it yourself online or through a travel agent? but you could always ask them.

we stayed at anaheim for 15 nights -had 11 days in the parks and it was so good!!! we didnt have to rush, we saw everything and had heaps of time to go back to all our favourite things! i would stay that long again - when you have travelled all that way to be there you may as well make the most of it!!!

Flight Centre sells the 14 day passes in New Zealand. Do compare their prices with those listed on Expedia before you buy. You get one Magic morning entry included.
We bought them because they were comparable in price to the 5 day hoppers.
You do have to exchange the vouchers for tickets once you arrive, some people say you can spend a long time in queues to do this.

Hi, just wanted to say YAY for all the Aussies on this post travelling to Disneyland :cool1: I think we should have our own Australian sub forum on these boards so we can all chat and help each other out for our trips!! Dollarmite, we are travelling in November also...when are you going? We are going for 8 days and have decided to purchase an annual pass as they only seem to sell 6 day park hoppers and the 14 day pass is probably comparable to buying an AP and you get the 10% discount on food (and also stuff at the sundries shop at the HoJo where we are staying). I might start a thread for us all to chat in....what do you think? Something along the lines of Aussie Disneyland planners and then we can bookmark it and keep in touch and help each other out with tips etc.
