Tuesday, June 15th
Well, we did not set up a phone call from Mickey as we were up late the night before. We finally rolled out of bed around 10:30.
Our original plans were to go down to Kennedy Space Center, but we decided to just go tomorrow & just hang around here for the day.
My son really wanted to show Grandma Pop Century & what building he stayed at when Daddy was here, so we decided we would have our breakfast/lunch in the Pop Century food court.
We walked around Pop Century & then decided to head over to Downtown Disney. We shopped & shopped & shopped some more!!
We stopped for some ice cream at Ghirardellis (YUMMY)!!!!! I just love their ice cream!
After our ice cream treats, we decided to head back to the Contemporary & let Jackson play in the arcade again & just chill out in the room.
A very low key type of day
Day 19---
Wednesday, June 16th
We had a 7:40 PS at Cape May character breakfast, we drove over to the Beach Club. We have ate here before & never had a problem. Let me just say, I loved the food, I loved the character interaction BUT if you get a server named Kim .RUN AWAY!!!!! She was one of the worst (kind of snotty) server we EVER had on Disney. I now wish I would have gave her even less of a tip!
I did do a review of our Cape May experience if you would like to read about it. I am just happy to report the food was good & the characters were playful
After leaving the Beach Club, we headed off to Kennedy Space Center. We love space & everything NASA stands for so Kennedy is a must do on our list. We had a really great time down there. I highly recommend a visit to Kennedy Space Center if you have the extra time.
Anyway, we had to head back to Disney because we had ressies for Hoop-Dee-Doo at 7:15! We arrived in plenty of time so we just checked out a little bit of Fort Wilderness.
Now, last year my son wasnt feeling the greatest during Hoop-Dee-Doo so he didnt enjoy himself too much & since I was worried about him, I really didnt enjoy myself as much as I could have.
This year was a totally different experience! My son LOVED Hoop-Dee-Doo!!!!! He was laughing at the corny jokes, although I am sure most went right over his head!
He was even asked to play the sheriff, but he was a little shy & just wanted to watch the show, maybe next time.
Our server was Janette (spelling?) and she was just wonderful! Very friendly!
After the show we walked back to the Contemporary boat & were back in our room in a pretty short time.
