DISNEY DREAMING! A Nov/Dec 2010 PTR *12/9 ~ Hello Again!

I love the countdown chain and it's giving me lots of ideas for ours! Question: What date are you counting as day 0? I was thinking we left the day before you but I have our 101 day as Wednesday. I am so confused! :lmao:

Ah darn. I went by what widget was telling me. Today is.....

.... so I went with Tuesday as a convenient day of the week for movie night.

Just now I did it the old fashioned way and counted it down. Day 0 is November 26th, the day before we go. That still works out though, so I'll stick with it.

I didn't even think of going off of the widget. It did remind that that was set to our old trip plans that did not include Pop so I got to shave two more days off! I just looked at ours and it said 103 days. I like that number best! :thumbsup2 I think we'll go with that, even if it is slightly inaccurate.

Great countdown chain. Do you think your kids will make me one?:lmao:

I'm gonna have to do something like that. I am planning on making some tye-dye Mickey shirts tomorrow. We are going to make test ones with blue and yellow in preparation for making the Christmas tye-dye red and green Mickey head shirts.
Once they are done, and if they turn out nice I will post some pics on my PTR.

We did those for one of our trips! They were super fun but it wasn't the kind of project that my hubby and I worked well on together. :lmao:

I'd like to do a different set for this trip, but I think I'd rather do a dress for Aileen.

Love, love, love the countdown chain!!! I can't wait until Olivia is old enough to help me with one! Your kiddos did an awesome job!

LOVE the chainlinks. That looks like you all had a great crafting time together. How much fun.

can't wait to see what movies you guys pick for your countdown.

Woo-hoo... two days closer!

Sure they'll make you one! They only charge a nominal fee.... a Mickey head ice cream bar :mickeybar a link. ;)

Oh I'll be watching for your tye-dye pics. That sounds like a fun thing to wear. :thumbsup2

Mmmmm, I must learn more. I don't know how to do it but if it's super messy I don't know.... Ohhh a dress for Aileen would be soooo cute. :cutie:

Thanks! Demetri proudly shows it off to George whenever he walks in the room. :rotfl:

Thank you! It was great fun! Alex has already picked out the first movie and I can't wait to see it again --- classic fun!

That is soooo cute! And I love your pictures too - especially the jumbled close-up. :)

That was a pretty cool picture. I'd use it for my desktop background except that my work blocked me being able to change it now and it's a dumb company message instead. :headache: The jumbled close up is much prettier then a boring work thingie.

Here's the link to the tie dye mickey shirts. They WERE super fun to do and to wear. If we do them again, I learned two things, don't do them with your spouse (as I already said) and do it outside. I think my counter is finally no longer stained. ;)

LOVE LOVE LOVE the countdown chain. It is gorgeous!! Such creativity. I love the idea of the hanging Mickey Head. :thumbsup2

Ooo, I just made those tie-dye shirts two days ago!

Here's the thread I followed (pretty much the same, but there are more pictures on one of the last pages): http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2028914

I'll have to post photos of how ours turned out (although I will be bringing it with me, so maybe I'll wear it when I see you too!)

Wow, that would be expensive. How about a picture of a mickey bar per link. I think I can afford that.

Tye-Dying looks easy. Just have to duplicate the steps in the link below.

Thank you for the link! I get scared thinking of doing something as adventurous as that.... really, it's easy?

Thanks LL! The hanging Mickey Head idea was stolen from mousescrapper  ..... I love stealing ideas!

Your countdown chain turned out soooo cute!!! :goodvibes Love it!!:thumbsup2

I love it! Plus, I can re-use the LGMHs for my room windows. Haven't figured out how yet  but I've subscribed to a room window decoration thread that I still have to read thru. :thumbsup2

Oh you're not going to make me wait that long are you?? Or have you already packed it away? If you haven't already packed it, definately post photos of them!!

I'll have my people talk to their people and will let you know if your counter offer is acceptable. That's actually a cool idea too. Pictures on the links, or pictures that become the links..... :scratchin Storing that thought away for next time!

Your link was the same as Margaret's (moparop) -- cool! I think my counter offer would be you guys make extra shirts for the Mickey_Mom crew, and we'll make a countdown chain for the Daddy_of_Princesses crew!

I love your countdown chain! :goodvibes So very creative and it looked like the kids had a lot of fun making it, too! :)

Thank you! We really did have fun putting it together. Ariana was singing "Can you feel the love tonight", Demetri was being his typical entertaining self and Alex and Kathryn were having fun alternately admiring or making fun of their respective strip creations. :rotfl: I, of course, had the most fun watching them all! :cloud9:

I love your countdown chain, can you make me one? :teeth:

Hmmmm, well your trip is much closer then ours so it shouldn't take toooo long. Well, Daddy_of_Princesses is making us tye-dye shirts in exchange (:rotfl2:) ....what can you offer and I'll take it to their people for consideration?

Lol, hmmmmm :scratchin I could send some yummy candy and chocolates from the UK as bribery perhaps? :teeth:
