What happens if you have Main Dining & your luggage doesn't arrive until 6:00 pm?

Its rare but that is why its not formal night, and you can wear what you come onboard with, normally my bags show up by 2pm.

its crunch time ! We are sailing Monday. I have a few last minute questions. What time will we be able to get to our luggage and rooms ? Our arrival time is 10:45. Not sure if that makes a difference, I know to bring a small bag with things we might need until we get to our luggage. But I am planning on getting lunch and hitting the aquaduck. So should I our swimsuits in the carry along bag? Do I need towels for Castaway Cay?

First thing.....breathe! It is so easy to get full of anxiety wondering if you have everything or know everything. DCL really does take care of you so as long as you don't miss the boat, it will all work out. Don't forget to enjoy the process of checking in. There is usually a character like Goofy or Pluto available to take pictures and there are plenty of cast members available to direct you to the next area. Even though the picture they take does not have a character as you embark, it is always a family favorite of ours because you can see how excited we are.

Don't worry about your suitcases. They "magically" do arrive in a timely manner and if for some reason they don't, show up to dinner in what you are wearing. Right off, you will have a story to tell your new dinner mates! And yes, this is advice from someone who actually does follow the dinner dress guidelines.......

This is great info (and great thread) I'm a 1st time cruiser - in June - good to know to wear or carry on our swimsuits....my 7yo will be ready to swim ASAP.

Different table tops from 4/6/8 you will be allocated one.

It may be a large one with others, it could be on your own.

You can put in a request which is normally honoured so request sit on our own or with others.

Yes, if you are not by yourselves, you would sit with the same people every night. It is kind of neat to meet new people from usually other parts of the country, if not world. It appears that Disney does try to do some match making. We have always been placed with another family whose make up is similar to ours.
