Disney Dream Trip Report- Updated and Complete! Questions are welcome.

this has made me EVEN more excited about my trip in October!! it looks amazing! (being from Australia, i have never been on a Disney cruise at all)

On a side note.. Can someone tell me, are drinks (non alcoholic) included in the cruise price?

Most non-alcoholic drinks (ie: soda, iced tea) are no charge unless you ask for them from a bar. You get them free of charge with your dinner or at the beverage station but if you ask for them at a bar or from a server in a bar you will be charged.
I also think their are some specialty drinks (ie: smoothies) that are always a charge.
Hope that helps.

This trip report and the pictures are awesome! Thanks for sharing!

I was wondering, I'm assuming the Tow Mater grill is a counter food place by the pool areas. Are there other counters in this area that serve other types of food?

We're leaving in 6 days, and can't wait. but I'm debating wether or not to bring our double stroller or single stroller. We have a 1 year old and 3 year old and are spending 3 days in the parks before the cruise, so the double stroller would probably be very handy. I am concerned that the hallways on the ship won't be wide enough. Anyone have any thoughts???
Thanks

I think this is correct. They will also automatically add an 18% gratuity to the bar drinks.

I thought I saw some other food counters. From what I've read, it sounds like there are a lot of options for "quick service" foods. I think Cabanas has a lot of options and other windows will be open for sandwiches etc.

Some of the pictures I've seen show fairly narrow hallways by the rooms. It's kind of hard to tell, but looking at Deck 9 (which is where our cabin is), there are some rooms that jut out into the hall a bit more and the hall narrows - mid ship. I would think they all have to be wide enough to accomodate wheelchairs, so at least that wide. Plus the stateroom attendants have carts they push down the halls. I would guess a double stroller would fit, but you might not be able to pass others in the hall! :)Check the pictures that the Podcast team posted on the DIS. Might give you a better idea.

I would not bring a double stroller. It is hard to get through with a wheelchair or stroller and on deck almost impossible to get around all the chairs. Just my opinion

I would not bring a double stroller on a cruise ship. I have seen people bring them and they take up a lot of space....especially in the elevators. You might have to wait a while to get a near empty one to fit the stroller.

Hi PrincessKPT!

Will you be on the Dream?? I'll be there with my DH and infant and 2 yr old. From past cruises, it seemed that the issue with doubles was really bad on the elevators. That's my entire reasoning for bringing 2 umbrella strollers. I just got this awesome one with a 5-point harness for my youngest one. Message me if you have any other questions. (This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise with a baby, and I'm still learning.)

Do you have a spot to store it while you are on the cruise? We are bring our single stroller for the parks, but we also have a rental car, so we are going to leave the stroller in the car while on the ship. (but my DD is 6 and walks a lot anyways, she just gets tired during long days at the parks.) So if you can bring it for ONLY the parks, then go for it. But I think it will be in the way on the cruise, unless you just store it in your room (maybe under the bed) and not use it then.
