Disney Dream Trip Report- Updated and Complete! Questions are welcome.

I have not been on the Dream yet but the pictures I have seen give me a different impression of what is behind the locked gate. I actually believe that
there are staterooms behind that gate, at least on deck 12. Look at the picture below:

First, notice the stateroom door. Then, look at the wood paneling on the left of the picture. You can see the reflection of the gate in the wood. There are definitely rooms behind the gate.

Edit: See the very beginning of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnJQq2p4JZI&feature=watch_response_rev
for an idea of how to get to the lounge.

I think this is actually a staircase and bannister. :)

I see a diagonal section and a horizontal section.

There are two sets of hot tubs, one in the adult section and one in the family pool area (somewhere...couldn't actually tell from my TAs photos).

The one you'e seen pictures of, is actually two separate seating areas.

.

Why would anyone want to get into the Concierge lounge if you did not pay for it? I guess this is why they have to put the gate up. :confused3

It does look like that, doesn't it.

It looks like there is the staircase, but the gate as well:

Thanks for sharing all of this great info! The detective game reminds me a magiquest - my kids will love it! Me too! :)

THank you so much for your report, I will be on the Dream in 10 days.... doing the Earmarked pre-inagural cruise.... I cannot wait and now after reading your report I am really excited....
It sounds so Awesome.....

Behind the gate are all the concierge rooms. Also, from this area, you can access the concierge area on deck.

I did not see a time that the gates were left open.

The Titntic scene was the first thing that came to my mind as well.

What do we need to sign up for the interactive art spy thingy?
Just our room key?
Is there someone to sign us up or is it an automated kiosk?
Thanks again for the reports!

Did you get navigators? What were the shows? Are you able to scan and post them? I'm curious to see what type of activities we can expect for our preview benefit cruise next week!!

Thanks for the report, it's awesome. One thing I noticed, am I correct.... there is no more MICKEY HEAD shaped pool like on the Magic and Wonder? My son will miss that, but I think the Aqua Duck will make up for it!! :thumbsup2

Going on the Dream in Feb for DD Sweet Sixteen...can't wait!

Couldn't figure out how to send pm to you about some graphics...I sent a pm thru your 4 shared file account. Hope you get it!

Thanks so much for sharing!! Did you have to eat at Cabanas or was there a restaurant choice for embarkation lunch?

I was just wondering...are there any size restrictions for the Aqua Duck? My DH is rather tall and I was concerened that his legs/feet might hang over in front of the tube to much. I would think that the weight limit would be rather generous because two people (parent/child) can ride at one time, so one curvey girl should have no problem.:rotfl2: But I'm curious if anything was posted.

Awesome photos and report :thumbsup2

Thanks for posting :goodvibes

I love love this report, thank you so much for taking the time to do it, I hope you took time to enjoy your trip as much as writing this report!!

We go in may 26th & 29th B2B ones and can't wait.

You're Awesome:thumbsup2
