We are staying in this room on our 6/1 double dip and were wondering if you can view the fireworks from the verandah. I know in past verandah rooms we weren't allowed on it due to the fireworks, but this room is at the very back of the ship and someone claimed in a review that they had amazing fireworks views. Anyone that has stayed in any of these oversized balcony aft staterooms please feel free to chime in. Thanks!

We were in 7190 (aft port side) on the Fantasy and could see the fireworks if we leaned out and looked to the starboard side. It wasn't the greatest place I've watched them from but doable especially if you have small kids who can't stay up that late.

We have stayed in several AFT oversized veranda rooms and could see some of the fireworks - probably about 1/3 of them?

I've stayed in 8188. I don't think you'd see the fireworks from there, and frankly I wouldn't want to. Most of the fun is up on the deck watching the show that preceded the fireworks.

Yeah, we've done the deck party so many times now that we just find a good spot to find the fireworks :teeth: Btw, how did you like the room?

Love the cat 5e rooms. Awesome way to wake up with the rumbling of the engines as it pulls back into Castaway Cay.

I don't think you'll have a great view of the fireworks unless you stay on 8184 or one of the ones that wraps around, and fireworks are on that side. Our first DCL cruise we booked OGT and ended up in 8184. Talk about Pixie Dust. Of course we got hooked on DCL since...

I understand from my wife that she was able to look out and could see some fireworks from 9674 on our 3 night in January. (She had turned in early.) That said, no one would recommend watching the fireworks from there they are obstructed and you're missing the pirate party!!

9674 is one stateroom further starboard (and one up, obviously).
