Disney Dream- September 25th 4-Night Bahamian Cruise!

Even though we might not be staying on this one; welcome! There are great folks on here, and I'm sure you'll have a DREAMy time! Where in NC are you? I grew up in Winston-Salem, went to college in Raleigh, lived in Cary, had one of my children in Charlotte, back to Raleigh for the other one and lived most recently in the eastern part of the state before moving to GA.

We are currently in Wake Forest. I came down to go to college in Raleigh (from VA) and never went back. I lived near the Fair Grounds for over 12 years after living around the college for 5 years and then moved to Apex, now I've been in Wake Forest for about 5 years.

We are going to Disney the week before the cruise. We usually go after, but decided to change it up this year. We hope to watch the Magic sail away on September 24.

We're still debating what to do today. After tons of rain this month we finally woke up to clear blue skies and temps that should reach the high 80's this morning. I'm thinking an outdoor day is a must. What are your plans?

We were in a parade yesterday with my hubby's car club. Other than that we just relaxed...it was a nice day, but very hot (98 degrees).

Where in PA did you travel to? I love that they sell Disney gift cards in my grocery store.

Okay so I just tried booking a private Cabana on Castaway Cay and they are all gone!!!

Also wanted to do Brunch at Palo, but thats not available either. We did however opt to do High Tea.

Guess I'll be on the website constantly to see if anyone has canceled!

You can also go in person your first day and try to get Palo or if friends have a ressie, you can ask them to add you on to their table. They will try to accommodate you!

When you sign into your cruise on the DCL site what does it say?

If it says you can start booking but still says things are full then I would call DCL. There is no way everything should already be unavailable.

We tried to book brunch Sunday morning, too. It was not available . We called Disney today and all of the reservations are filled. We were able to book the tea. I didn't want to book the supper. I think we will try to be there early to see if we can get in to the brunch. And, we will check every so often to see if there are any openings!!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone and enjoying ourselves!! I am working on our FE gifts....nothing real fancy, but I hope everyone likes it!!

Well I'm just glad I'm not the only one!!1 It is crazy that the Brunch is already booked. I know that the cruise isn't booked up, there must be lots of platinum members on board!! We really want the Cabanas, but at least I can understand why there already booked with there only being 19 available. Oh well! I'll keep looking too, maybe we will get lucky!

This makes me a little . My kids and I had the opportunity to go on a 3 day Wonder Cruise in '09 (our 1st ever cruise!), but my husband found out a few days before the trip that work was forcing him to stay behind the days we were sailing. Even though my boys and I had a fabulous time on the ship, I couldn't wait to dock and get to WDW where my hubby was flying down to meet us for the second half of the trip. I'm really hoping a Palo brunch will open up so we can celebrate making it on the Dream together. My 13 year old is really hoping to go on the teens Castaway Cay Wild Side Adventure. I can't start booking activities until the 27th so I have a little more time to wait. If everything's booked though, oh well. I'm sure we'll have a fantastic time no matter what we do. It's getting closer and closer!!\

Does anyone know what time the phone lines open to call and book activities or is it better to do it online?
