Sounds like a winner to me! I'll do my bestest to make both!

Watched the Dream docking tonight! She came in early due to the storm. First time I've caught her on the move. So exciting!![]()
How about 1:45pm at 687 - a contemporary sports bar located on Deck 4, Aft in The District area on the Disney Dream, is a sophisticated yet friendly venue where families can partake in activities and games during the day, and adults can unwind with a cocktail at night.
Are we going to have a second meet at 3pm or just the 1:45? Does anyone not anticipate being on board, or able to make it at 1:45?
Now all we need is somethat there be no major damage anywhere and that we get good weather when it's our turn to go.

yeah i'm really worried that Castaway Cay will be closed, there are threads here that say CC was closed for 2-3 weeks in 2004, after Hurricane Frances.
i'm watching the main forum for trip reports of the current cruise (8/25) that left yesterday. I have a feeling those folks might have 3 "days at sea"... if they actually do stop at Castaway Cay on Saturday, that would be great news.

I wouldn't worry about the cruise being canceled, but if there are weather issues, I would DEFINITELY worry about flight delays and/or cancellations. If you can't make the cruise because of a flight issue, you WILL lost out on all the money you paid for your cruise.![]()
Thank you. Looked into insurance today to late to book through the cruise line. I called access America they had high call volumes d/t Irene. So I visited the site and natural disasters weren't covered. I will call tomorrow to speak with someone. I just don't want to miss the boat. I'm so excited about my first cruise. I just wouldn't want to loose the money or worst miss the boat and not be able to rebook at a later date.
I thought that being that we are under 20 days the chatter would pick up. I hope that all is well with everyone, and I also really hope that we make it to CC. I know that I won't have my fill of Disney, so the kids and I are going back to Disney in October for MNSSHP. DH refused to go back Disney so soon
, so I am having to fly my brother in from SC to travel down with me. I know that I can do it all by myself, but that last time I took my son by myself I caught a migraine and was unable to feed my then 5year old for 2 hours while I slept. Poor thing just laid in the bed with me and watched cartoons until I woke up. That was the second migraine I had, I did not develop them until I was on a tour in Iraq. That is the last place you want to be sick with anything. Also working at a hospital in a highly visited beach town, I see it all to often when parents are traveling alone with their kids, and they get hurt or even worse die(I have seen it). Don't mean to be a downer on such a happy board just had to share. ALL and ALL I can't wait for more DISNEY
! The trip is going to be a surprise for the kids, they won't figure it out until we hit I-75.
I got busy with last minute wedding planning, hair trial tomorrow. Meet with dj Wednesday. Busy busy. I finally updated my pj though
Hope ya'll are having a great Tuesday. The count down is getting close now!!! Like Toria said we are under 20 days now - something like 15 days away!!!![]()
I read somewhere on here that Castaway Cay didn't have that much damage. They thought they would have to dredge out for the ship to be able to dock, but that wouldn't take much more then a day to do that. Some clean up on the island..............I hope that poster knew what he was talking about.![]()
Chris and Steffie Murphy here giving a shout out that we are excited to be going on our first Disney cruise. The "FE" gifts, with a little pixie dust, are done and I hope you all enjoy them! Hope to see you on board
