Happy Friday Dispeeps!!
I'm goin to Cedar Point tomorrow!!!
Cedar point is THE best amusement park I've ever been to and we haven't been it a few years so I'm really excited!!!
The only problem is I live 4 hours away and we are driving there and back in the same day!! I'm too cheap for a hotel this close to 2 weeks in Disney. So that means 8 hrs of driving for 12 hours of fun. WOW! I never thought of it that way till now. I think I am going crazy!!

What are your guys plans this weekend?!

My TA sent me an email to say our cruise docs were in and they'll be sent out to us most likely on Monday. WooHOOOO!!!!

DW and I watched the Dream sail out Friday evening Junior! How about everyone else? Did ya'll watch too?!??
Saturday is my yard work day. Got out there around 7:30am to start trimming the hedges and mow the ol' yard. Got finished around 2:30 or so in the afternoon. I got to admit - I had let the hedges get out of hand. They are something I should work on each and every week. But most weeks I tend to get a little lazy and put it off until they are looking so bad that the neighbors are giving me the eye. And, with all of this heat it really takes it's toll on this ol' man!!!
Well, got to run some errands this morning. Hope everyone has a great day today. Talk to ya'll again later!!!

Hope you had fun in Cedar Point Junior. I had my hen/bachelorette day yesterday. Was so much fun, got congrats from everyone including some policemen on patrol

I always remember to go look at the webcam to see the Dream sail away about 2 hours too late. Dagnabbit at my poor sense of timing! Next time I'm gonna set my alarm with 2 warning alerts.

Does anyone else have visions of themselves welling up with tears when they finally lay eyes on the Dream for real, in person, raw eyeball to ship? I totally do! I don't cry at weddings or when babies are born. I'm not an overly sappy kinda girl with most things. However, I can totally see myself getting at least misty sorta like when we drive under the magical arch at WDW.

I'm sure all of us will be so excited about geting on board the Dream! DW and I are looking forward to that first ride on the AquaDuck!!! And also to our first on board the Dream!!!

Yeah - we got our docs Of course not today cause it is Sunday and there is no mail on Sundays. But I haven't posted since we got them cause I was worn out from Aimee's bacherlorette/shower party on Friday night plus I have worked my second/third job all weekend.

Aimee's friend put together an "amazing race" style party. It was great fun except I think she forgot some of us are old Ran us all over downtown St. Louis. It was great fun though and everyone had a good time. But....my shins still hurt. I am too old for all that running.

I too will be spending some one on one time with my son starting the 11th. We are also going to Universal! It might sound crazy but I spent $400 for my son(11) and I to go to Universal on Monday the twelfth. Plus I got a hotel room that I'm not even gonna use just to get into the park an hour earlier to get to Harry Potter before the general gates open up. I also got the VIP tickets so we can have front of the line access at almost every ride! This will be his first trip to Universal in about 6 or 7 years so this time he is ready and big enough to do all the good stuff! It's gonna be a blast and know I'll have to buy a wand.

Heya Junior, if you have a room onsite, you get FOTL access without paying extra for it.

One thing you should no about DL is that it's not as safe as WDW. There are a lot of people there that live around there and things can come up missing. It's a happy place but not as happy as WDW.

I've heard as many reports about things going missing at WDW as I have from DL. And I disagree. DL is a happier place for me than WDW.

I've only been once so Deb and I got a tour guide and she admitted exactly what I said cause I posed the question. I said I liked how you can leave your stuff on the stroller when going on rides at WDW and she said she wouldn't advise that at DL. That's why I posted that.

LOL Well, no one told the Stroller Army that. Those things are everywhere and so loaded with stuff that I think people bring them just to have something on wheels to push it all in. Kinda like the people I saw at WDW with coolers riding in strollers ... no kids, just coolers.

In fact, Kyle and I were talking about the stuff left in strollers. There was an unattended back on the ground that security had roped off, but all the unattended strollers around it were full of stuff too. So, why freak out about a bag and not a stroller full of stuff?

And technically, DL wasn't my first love. I'd been to WDW four times before setting foot in DL.
