Disney Dream - October 9, 2011 - 4 Nights

We are flying in on Friday and staying at the Hyatt MCO. We have stayed there before but not for 2 days. Not sure what we will do for 2 days, but I'm sure we will find something to do.

Now that it's getting cooler, and the summer clothes are going through the laundry potentially for the last time, I may start to pack so that the clothes go directly into the suitcase!

We went from 90's to 60's overnight! The weather is crazy!!! But I started packing anyway!

We're seriously thinking about it! If anything, we'll wear either pirate hats or eye patches. With Halloween so near, I think we'll easily be able to find some good pirate wear.

We've never done a Disney Cruise, but this whole Pirate Themed Night sounds like a riot!

We're bringing our pirate costumes! We were on the Magic last May and felt so left out we didn't bring our costumes, so this cruise we definitely are! And eat lightly at dinner - they have SO much food up on deck for the party, it's insane!

Really?!? I've never heard about this part of the party. What kinda food is it? Like desserts? Or more like appetizer/finger foods?

I'm thinking we should have skipped on the DDP at the parks before hand and saved room for all this cruise food!

Anything you can think of. Turkey legs, desserts of all kinds - crepes, ice cream, cakes - I remember there being different stations, so one was desserts, one was 'dinner' foods. It was overwhelming. And we had never heard of all the food, either, so we went to dinner where they had a special menu, and then we went up on deck and were shocked to see the amount of food. We'll be going to dinner this time just to see the restaurant, since we only have 4 nights this cruise, but we'll order lightly and save room for the food up on deck.

It was overwhelming.

I'm overwhelmed just reading about the obscene amounts of food. I cannot imagine what it actually will be like in person. Thanks for the warning!

We are!

I didnt give my group an option.... I told them "everyone" did.... so the rest of you..... GET TO IT!
(it was either dress up or wear matching shirts... they opted for the dress up)
There are 13 of us.

I will have:

Captn Hook, Mr. Smee, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell,Wendy, a Mermaid from Mermaid Lagoon, Tiger Lily the Indian Princess, 5 Pirates, and a "baby" Parrot.
I'm so excited about Pirate Night. Now which night of the cruise is it usually?

Also... I just thought it was deserts at the Pirate Party.... will definately order light so we can partake.... This is our second Disney cruise and our first one we were so overwhelmed and so tired we .... skipped the pirate party.... and went to .... bed.... NO SLEEPING THIS GO ROUND
