I saw that too! My only guess is that Columbus day is a holiday for some? I'm glad I got in at the price I did though. I do know that it is fall break for some so that might be why too.

Me too! The price now is INSANE! All the other cruise dates around ours are MUCH lower than the price for ours. I always sail in Sept/Oct, so the ship usually isn't too overcrowded--hope ours isn't so full that it feels crazy!

This is going to be our first time on a Disney Cruise. We've done the World at least 4 times already but we always stay at the 'value' (cheap) places to have more money for the parks. So for this trip we're splurging on the Cruise and from the sound of it I think we may be spoiled for any other cruise line. So from your experiences, when is the cheapest time of year to cruise with Disney? (i hear my husband now, 'another? we haven't done this one yet!') It sounds like most of you guys have done this before

This whole trip is a bit of a splurge for us anyway we're coming down with all of my husband's immediate family - all 23 of us! First time ever all of us will be together in one place (newest addition just born 2 months ago) and about 6 years since the last time we all got together. So we're doing the World for 5 days before the cruise and then about 12 of us are doing just the 4 day cruise on the Dream. This will be the longest we've done Disney ever.

I would love to meet new Disney peeps but not sure if we could participate in the FE yet (I get a little OCD about these things and my husband enacts a ban sometimes for both our sanities ). Especially since we have to plan and coordinate keeping 13 adults and 12 kids happy for a week.

It's just my hubby and I and we're on deck 8 (can't remember #). Look forward to seeing everyone!

I just got back from an 8 night solo trip to WDW. Now I can concentrate on my cruise!! Boy! Do I have some catching up to do!!!

Just went through some of the pages on this post and I am also trying to loose weight for our cruise. I use a site called dailyburn.com to track calories. They also have a page where you can set up challenges and I can set one up for our cruise. I must say that I won't be in the challenge cause I just got a lap band on Monday and that gives me an unfair advantage. (lost 20 pounds this month alone lol) hoping to be sexy by the cruise!

Hi- Just found thi board and would like to intorduce ourselves. My mother my 9 year old dd and myslef are coming on this cruise. We are from Sydney Australia and the cruise is towards the end of what I am calling our "sea to shining sea" holiday- Hawaii, Seattle, an Alaskan cruise on Carnival, then down to Florida for Oasis of the Seas, Disney Magic, then this cruise , WDW , Las Vegas and home- whew- I get tired just writing it!! It does sound excessive but when you come so far you do try to cram it in. We will be away just over 6 weeks. Can't wait. We have never been on Disney cruising though we have been to Disneyland LA and Hong Kong disney a couple of times and plenty of other cruises.elsewhere. Jennie.
