My DH & DS have no idea yet - but we are booked on a B2B. This sailing first followed by the 3 night. Woo-hoo! We have 5 of us - DH, DS (15 @ time of sailing), DSIL and DMIL sailing and looking forward to having a blast. :goodvibes

Was waiting to see if a thread would start for our cruise...So here it is! :goodvibes

We are a family of 6, myself, DH, DS 11, DS8, DD6 and DS 1 1/2 (Now ages...). Just added the 10/13/11 3 Night to make this trip our first official DCL B2B vacation...Still in a bit of shock we are doing two cruises at once, but 15th Anniversary for DH and I, why not?!?! :rotfl:

Awesome! Seems to be a lot of B2Bs being booked on this ship and I can't say that I blame people. If It worked out nicer on vacation times I would've done a summer B2B for all that CC time, but I'll take what I can get. My first B2B, too. I've been meaning to search here to see how they handled it.

Do you want the 3 nighter RC thread? I didn't want to seem like a RC thread hog and start two of them. :rotfl:

but just for the 4 night cruise. Can someone clarify that everyone in their stateroom was charged the $200/person deposit please? I am more interested in groups of more than two people. Example: Was the deposit $600 for a group of 3?
Thanks

Hey Everyone,
We have not moved our reservation yet but we are thinking this would be the cruise for us.
I will be back once the decision is made. :rolleyes1

We just booked this one today!!

This will be my 5th Disney Cruise, and I'll be traveling with my DH and our two sons, who will be 10 and 14 at the time of sailing. It will be their 4th time on DCL.

We are DVC owners, and we'll be making our first trip "home" to AKV the night before the cruise.

We are SO excited and hope that this group is a big one. Can't wait to get to know you all!!

Booking this cruise onboard next week with on the Wonder. We will have 4 cabins... Me, DH, DD14,DD6, DS4,DS3 and DMOM in 3 cabins. Then our 2 friends and DS 6. It will be for my 40th, DS's 3rd and DD's 15th b-day!
Very excited to be going on the new boat! Will try and book a THV either before or after cruise.

:cool1: We're booked 10/9/11 & 9/13/11 B2B

It's me & one of my DS's who will be 17 not quite 18. Too bad no Palo for him.:sad2: It will be exciting to see "The Dream" Can't wait!

Yes the deposit is $200 p/p. So the deposit would be $600 for 3 people on the reservation.

We are DVC members who own at AKV & VWL. You will love your first stay at AKV. Are you planning on staying at Jambo or Kidani Village?

I rebooked on the Wonder for our 2 cruises in 2011 and it was only $100/ deposit per person.

If I were you, I would still book Palo for yourself and then when you get on board, go and ask if your son can join you as they may allow it if he is almost 18 (like the allow kids 2.5 and up in Oceaneer's Club if they are potty-trained).
I am sure he is mature enough to go to an adult restaurant with you.

I hope that this thread gets more active as the time gets closer!

So far, we've booked a stateroom, a friend and her family have booked one, her mom and stepdad have booked one, my mom, dad and grandma have booked one, and one of my sisters and her family have booked one. Another sister is supposed to be booking next month, and my 3rd sister may or may not be going with us. Either way, it's going to be a blast!

I am excited about doing a fish-extender exchange and lots of other fun stuff with my fellow DISers! Only 500+ days to go!!

Hi! We *may* be joining you guys - we have a HUGE family reunion that should be scheduled for the week before in Disney - then I'm thinking that DH and I will leave DS (2) with grandma for a few days while we enjoy the Dream... :teeth:

What kind of cabins is everyone getting? I'm considering a porthole (they look HUGE!) but will probably splurge for a balcony...

Saw your B2B post and I think you must be booked the same as we are? We are going on 10/9/11 and 10/13/11 Dream cruise! Too long to wait, but still looking forward to the trip! :yay: We are a family of 6: DH, myself, DS13, DD10, DS8 and DS3 (and possibly my older DS21 if college schedule allows? :confused3

Hi Everyone,
I am getting excited about our cruise. Yes, we did decided to switch.
I knew we would.:cheer2:
I am most excited about the new dining venues.
My DH and I may even have a date night.
Day Dreaming Break is over. Back to cleaning.:laundy:

Hi everyone! I just moved a reservation from 8/11 to this one on the Dream! I am friends with Julie (Kstategrad). It will be me, DH, DD (24), DD (21) and DSIL (25). We will be in 2 cabins. This will be my 7th cruise, DH's 6th.

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and getting involved in all the DIS activities!

Julie, I can help you organize the FE if you want!
