Disney Dream June 24, 2012 5 Night Bahamian

I'm glad you finally got the cat. cabin you originally wanted. Obviously there was some pixie dust.:wizard:

There was a separate thread about this, but it didn't appear to be getting much traction, so I thought I'd post here on one of the main cruise meet threads to see if there was more interest.

The idea is that we'd schedule about an hour (usually in the afternoon on the sea day, but that's open to discussion) to go around and visit the staterooms of other cruisers. It's a great opportunity to take a look at other room categories to help with future cruise planning. You go around as a large group so you have the chance to see all of the rooms, and anyone can participate.

We're fortunate enough to be staying in the Walt Disney suite on this cruise, and we'd be more than happy to open that up to anyone who wants to take a peek. The goal would be to have every stateroom category (at least every number, even if we don't get every A, B, and C) represented. We did this on the maiden voyage of the Dream, and it was a lot of fun!

If you're interested in opening up your room, please either post here or send me a PM. And even if you don't feel like sharing your room, you're welcome to walk around and see the others. To be honest, we don't need to see 10 rooms all of the same category, so we might choose some that provide the easiest travel path (i.e., not walking from one end of the ship to the other between each room).

we would be interested in joining. We are now in an 8B, cabin 9154 in the AFT of the ship.

That sounds like fun! Depending on the time, we would be interested! We are in a 5E (it was a 6B when we booked). Our room # is 6690. :goodvibes

We signed on in the other thread - so I'm assuming we're combining the 2?

We're in rm # 10096 - Cat 4A.

Hoping it's scheduled for a time when we can participate.

Can't wait!!!

Thanks,
Gretchen

2 more Mondays!

How did THAT happen, chkndady?!?

I remember when you started here:

Going to work is really a bore...
While others say "there's no place like home"
I would much rather roam
Because Mondays - I've got 35 more!

Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

BTW - LOVE the graphic!

Hi again.
I posted also on the other thread with a picture of my cabin, but yes I would be interested also. I have a very unusual cat 5E ( originally booked as 6A) 8184.

Still waiting for our VGT assignment--getting very anxious!!! Just think of all the fun we'll be having on CC three weeks from today!!!

Here are the room types that have been volunteered so far (thank you to everyone!). I don't think we need every single category, but it would be terrific if we could at least hit every type of room. I have split some of the category groups up based on differences (solid verandah, obstructed view, etc.).

Please let me know via this thread or through PM if you're willing to share your room with everyone. We're looking for the room types where we still have question marks in particular:

Concierge Royal Suite w/ Verandah (Cat R)
12002 - NejTheLion

Concierge 1-Bedroom Suite w/ Verandah (Cat T)
?

Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom w/ Verandah (Cat V)

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom w/ Verandah (Cat 5A-5D & 5E/6A/6B)
8184 - hbg4 (5E)

Thank you Othello! :goodvibes
At some point I can pm you with our room number and vice versa.

If anyone else would like to join my last minute short list of fe's, including anyone else that comes in late, please do not hesitate to let me know!

Again, there are two cabins of us, one grandma, two moms and two daughters.
We are sooooo excited!!

Hi! Just showed my DD some of the FE made of duct tape which is her latest craze. She really wants to make one so if you'll have us, we would join your group. We are 1st time cruisers so I know what a FE is but have no clue what are appropriate "gifts" and when do you distribute them? Guess I'll hunt another thread to get more info.

Anyway, we are a family of 5: DH, DD-11, DD-6, and DD-1.:goodvibes
