Hello everyone!!!

I will be on this cruise with my Husband!!!

We are getting married on June 11 and will be leaving at 4:30 am the next morning to make sure we get to the cruise the next day!!!

This is also our first cruise - I am sooooo excited to celebrate our honeymoon.

Also thanks to Beth for getting us on the FE list!! We just ordered our fish extender and working on our FE gifts!!!

Does anyone know what the dress codes for each night will be? For example, how many casual nights, and will we have a semi formal as well as a formal night? I assume there will be a Pirate Night.....

Here's what I have in my notes:

Sunday - Cruise Casual
Monday - Dress Up (Semi Formal or "Sunday Clothes")
Tuesday - Pirate Night
Wednesday - Cruise Casual
Thursday - Cruise Casual

Don't hold me to any of that though, I can't remember for the life of me where I got that info.

I tried the FE gift prototype this weekend. I have some adjustments to make to my design, but it got me so excited. My grandma is visiting this weekend for Ethan's first communion, so I'm going to have her help me set up my sewing machine so I can make the actual FE. We bought a sewing machine years ago so my grandma and MIL could sew when they came to visit. It has been a long time since I learned how to sew and I don't do it much, so I always need reminders how to use the machine.

Wondering if someone can answer this for me. When I did my online check in, I put "cash" for my onboard purchases. Can I change it to credit card once on the ship (or at check in)?

I read on one of these boards that someone went to their online check in and changed their method of payment and it also changed their port arrival time. I have an 11:00 time, and really don't want to lose this assigned time.

So hoping instead of doing it online, I can change it once I get there.

Anyone know?????

You can change any of those items at check in, and actually throughout the cruise as well. If you decide you want to pay part in cash and part on your card, just go to guest services and they'll apply the cash to your bill at any point throughout the cruise. They'll adjust just about anything once you get to the port. I didn't know it would change your boarding time though if you did it before! Thats good to know, though from what I read at this opine those boarding times are pretty much meaningless. Never know when that will change though.

I also got about $8 refunded back from DCL and emailed my agent as soon as I saw it in my bank acct because I'm not use to Disney GIVING me money and you hear so many stories about reservations being mixed up/cancelled/etc...turns out that they did lower the taxes and that was what it was for

As far as the check in times I think Disney is hoping that those that don't really know what is going on will follow those times and make for a less crowded port area...of course Dis'ers know better and show up early anyway and have been getting the same boarding number as those who have the early time

Still waiting on MIL's passport...she went on Friday to the census bureau office and paid to have it expedited and since she had paid intially for the passport to be expedited hopefully by the end of the week we'll know if she's at least approved for it

45 Days!


Last night we decided that we'd do Magic Kingdom post-cruise. I had no idea that a one day ticket was $84! We usually get 7 day tickets which work out to much cheaper on a per day basis. They really stick you if you want to only get one day. Oh well, I guess they know we'll pay it.

Also, is anyone gonna make their fish extender? My wife said she's worked with no sew hems and stuff before, so hopefully she can make ours. If not, they're online for $30.
