Hi Bill I have been calling the Travel Agent and he said he has been checking. I don't think I can call Disney directly because I have an agent. I am hoping at 45 days maybe something will come up. With everything going on with graduation I am so far behind.

Weather here has been crazy! Small tornadoes all day Thursday. A bunch of trees down in the neighborhood. But so very nice today. Hope everyone is having a good day

Lynn, I was told by DVC that the final day for cancel for them is at the 60 day mark. Make sure you check just before then and immediately at that time. Let your agent know this. He will have to make the changes. You can't do it. DCL will only deal with your agent except for your shore excursions. That is why I kept calling DVC repeatedly for months. They were familiar with what I was doing. It made it easier for all of us.

3-Dan I think what ewinme was questioning was is it safe for the cruise staff to be paid their tips in cash or does it present a problem with them having that amount of cash. I also always paid cash for our tips just as I do a server in a restraunt as locally it was reported that some management take a tip placed on the bill and divide between all staff not just the person giving excellent service. So to assure this doesn't happen we began leaving cash for the tip even if we charged the bill. Had not considered this might be a problem till reading ewinme's post but a excellent server could have upwards of $800 to $1000 in cash after each sailing. That could lead to problems. Just throwing this out there for discussion.

Hi Neighbor! We're both from the South Hills, though we never turn down an excuse to go out to Ross Park! Maybe we can arrange a mini meet! We are doing the FE Exchange, this will be the first time we've done it, so I'm looking forward to it!

Hi Melissa, sorry it took me so long to post again. A mini meet sounds great. Any other Pittsburgh area Double Dippers lurking out there want to join us? It wouldn't have to be at Ross Park Mall. Actually now that I have GPS I can find my way around Pittsburgh much better! What do you think of April 16th or April 30th? Those are Saturdays. I will be in town anyways on the 16th; I'll be free after 3:30pm. The 30th I could meet any time after 11am. I can't believe we are so close now! The time is going to fly!

I just read the thread on the main board about people joining the meet cruise forum to get the FE gifts. I hope no one will think that of us. I just didn't want to get to excited and start following the meet group every day until I knew we were for sure going. But everyone on here sounds like the more the merrier so I think I am ok.

3DAN - I think I'd like to join the room tour! We don't have a cat 3 or 4...just a cat 5C....down the hall from someone else on the tour I believe. We can see how much smaller my room is! We are in 7652. I'll try and read backwards to find out, but I am trying to remember when this will be happening...on the Sea Day?

NINE MORE SUNDAYS!!!!!!

I was just sitting outside in the sun on my deck and as much as I love that, Sitting outside in the sun on Disney's deck is SO much better!!!!!

Welcome to the newcomers!! Can't wait to meet everyone in person!! I was looking at video...I'll have to go back and find it...and I think it was deck 11? forward...there is a huge open space. Maybe we could meet there? I think it is near the Currents bar, but I think it is family space. Again, I'll have to see if I can find that video again. What about meeting the half hour before the muster drill? Or right after? Just throwing out ideas...but someone will have to decide!

I have another announcement...and although some people may say that it's too much info to share with people, I am PROUD of our accomplishment! We made our last, final, 55th payment to our consumer credit debt. We are now completely debt free!!! 5 years ago, we debated filing backruptcy and we saw a commercial for a federally funded organization...I called, we worked out the details and we have fully paid back every dime we owed! we have not used a credit card in nearly 5 years....that's part of the agreement. So, even though we took 3 cruises in that time, a few trips to the parks and other vacations, we paid cash for all of them. I won't EVER say it was easy, because it wasn't. Now that we will have a little extra cash flow, things will be so much nicer! I won't have a panic attack when the kids need money for school, or the dogs need to go to the vet. We can breath a little easier. Also, a friend of mine has already sent me a pm asking for details. You just never know who might be living beyond their means. If we can help just one other family, then it's all worth throwing this out there for the world to know!! And my cruise splurge is going to be one of the Dooney and Bourke handbags!! My mom gave me a gift card for Christmas, so I will use that too! Finally, a handbag I didn't buy on clearance at walmart! LOL

Gonna fix the kids something to eat, gather my coupons and list and we are heading out to grocery shop. I hope this finds everyone happy and healthy!!

That area looks really great Michelle. The other thread said that it is a family area, so I think it would work for our DisMeet. Although it said it was all the way forward, did it say what deck? Okay, so now we need to see what everyone else thinks, and then decide on a definite time.

Looks good to me. I vote for before muster.

Also, congrats on being debt free. When I married my DH, he was doing the same thing. We spent the first 2 years of marriage doing that. Now we never keep a balance on our credit cards. It is a great feeling. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your slurge.

Looks good to me! It looks like this is maybe Deck 12, since there are other shots in this same post looking down on the Quiet Cove Pool. Or is it maybe Deck 13? I had read in some thread a while back that Deck 13 forward had a lot of seating and would be good for a DIS meet.

I would also vote for prior to the muster drill. With lifejackets no longer required for the drill, we could all just disperse to our muster stations from the meet location.

Way to go, Michele!! That's an awesome accomplishment.

I figured it was time to do a little intro of myself and family since we're now only 9 Sundays to go!!! I'm Coree and have been a Disney fan for a long time. When my husband, Vic, and I met he got the bug a bit and we started going to Disney every year, sometimes twice. For our honeymoon we did a Disney Cruise on the Magic and haven't had a chance to do another cruise since. So this cruise we'll be joined by our 5-year-old daughter Anna and it will be her first cruise.

We also have another family joining us and I'm trying to talk them into getting on this board and meeting everyone beforehand too. We're all crazy excited since we've had these reservations for a year and a half now. Can't wait to meet you all!
