Probably not I, never have..... but then, maybe I'll try it out for a first and see if I'm any good at it

I will probably do a trip report. I did when we cruised Carnvial in 2008. I think it is even more important with the Dream being a new ship. Folks are going to want all the info they can get!!!

Hopefully, there will be alot of trip reports written before we go. I'm looking foward to what people have to say that return from the 1st few cruises

I have never written a trip report before. Maybe I'll try it this time, but I'm not sure. Ashman, I recently read your trip report and really loved it! I don't think I could do as well of a job.

Yes, Rose it is Nancy.

Our last cruise, I wrote the trip report pretty quick after we got home because I knew it would be hard to be on the message boards much after the cruise because of post vacation blues....that is until we had another trip planned.

I was going to ask you guys...I have seen posts about fish extender gifts. I have never done this before. Have any of you? I'm not sure if we talked about this if anyone is interested.
I'm not crafty at all but it kind of sounds like fun.

If you have any doubt at all about writing a trip report, do it, you won't regret it. Makes it easier to share your trip with others. I'm just a big fan of journaling in general.

Bought matching Mickey t-shirts for us to wear on the first day and bought Santa hats today!!!!!!!

Someone mentioned bringing Santa hats and having pictures made for Christmas cards while on the cruise. I thought that was a fabulous idea and we are definitely doing that. I am getting so excited!

Thoughts

I think everyone decided to plan the FE exchange details after we got through the holidays. I think we'll divide into groups since we have a large amount of cruisers. I'm not sure who is going to be in charge of it, yet. Hopefully we can get it organized soon!!


I'm not crafty either, but when we did the FE on our cruise last year, I made gift bags, similar to birthday party -type bags and filled them with goodies.

Looks like our cruise may be a complete sell-out right now. Went online to see what it might cost to upgrade and it does not even show up as an option.

Where should we stay the night before the cruise. I looked into Country Inn and Suites. It's $139 and includes free parking during the cruise. Anyone with suggestions?

Happy New Year everyone!!
The kids now know where we are going on vacation this year and are very excited! I really can't wait now!
Still getting Christmas put away, but almost done. It's always sad to put it all away and the house looks so empty for the first week or so.. We are going to book our plane tickets after the tax return comes in the mail. We will fly in departure day and probably out the same day we arrive back at reality

I bought myself a cheap fish eye lens last week, can't wait to see what kind of pictures I can get on the cruise, i've already had some fun with it! hopefully my skills will be better this time around!

hmm and it looks like I need to get a ticker added to my siggy! lol now that the kids are about to go back to school, maybe i can have my computer long enough to get one added!

Happy New Year to all.

Less than 6 months to go and can't wait. The weather has not been nice to us, so thinking about the warm sandy beaches of Castaway Cay Twice are saving us.

We had a ton of fun with the FE on our last cruise, so looking forward to this one, we did gifts from our home state last time. Being from NC did some moonshine for the adults, then some fun pirate themed stuff for the kids.

The kids go back to school, I am already back at work, so the vacation is over and the reality that will live with us for another 6 months sets in.

Has anyone set any resolutions surrounding the cruise for the new year?

I have seen some posts that our cruise might be sold out, while visiting my parents over the holidays they mentioned that they may try and go with us. I have just seen a cat 5 for 2 adults on our cruise. Just thought I would pass this along. Looks like there may be some space available.
