Thanks for the info on contacting your congressman. I will look into that today! We won't have much time there....arriving on Friday and leaving on Monday.....We need to come up with a plan of action, but since we don't really know how much time to allow for anything, it's going to be tricky! I figured on Friday when we arrive, we would do a night tour of the monuments. We want to do the Air and Space and Spy and Natural History and, and, and, and.....We WANT to do it all, but know we just can't. My great Grandfather is buried at Arlington, would love to take the time to go to his gravesite, but I know we just won't be able to. I guess I better get out a blank calendar and start planning! It'll be here before I know it!

Wow, it has been forever since i checked out this thread. Our group is amazing. I have to admit i did not read all the posts but i jumped through and read many, I have a lot of catching up to do Did we decide on a theme/picture/etc? I really really liked the very first beach scene with the ice cream cones, but it seemed that maybe that was not the "one" anymore.

I know it is a very very very long time away but i have to start brainstorming for FE gifts for three staterooms and want to be sure I am thinking the right theme.

My girls still do not know about this cruise. We are hoping to keep it secret until Christmas but we have had a couple of very near misses so time will tell. I am looking so forward to telling them, but I know how horrible the wait seems for me, I think it will be worse if they knew now too. Keep your fingers crossed my surprise does not get spoiled. Once we tell them I hope to find them some kids there ages to email back and forth with so they will "kinda" know others before getting on the ship. Have any of you tried this before?

I so wish we were getting on the ship today, it seems so lonnnnnngggggggggggggggg away.

Wow! 37 pages!! Are we going to shoot for 100 by next June? We just recently booked a 4 night on the Dream for Feb. 20, 2011. I believe this will be the 5th cruise for the Dream so we are very excited! Some friends of ours who just joined DVC got us a verandah room with their points as a thanks for us taking them with us this past February to WDW. They had so many points given to them that they couldn't use this year and that couldn't be banked so they decided on the cruise. We have adjoining verandah rooms! We have never had a verandah room so we are definitely stoked about that! DW is concerned about it as we will have a 2 year (nearly 3) in the room with us. I am trying to assure he that Evan will be fine! We have another cruise already booked for December 19 of this year. Is it bad we already have 3 cruises booked for our almost 2 year old and he hasn't even been on one yet?? hahahahaha!!!!

On our last cruise, our group, the B.O.B.'ers wrote 29 threads for our trip and each thread contains 250 pages!

After 5 Magic/Wonder big family cruises... we all couldnt wait untill 2011 for a Disney Cruise anymore..so we when ahead and booked a 2010 Disney Wonder Cruise...LOL

We are all busting in the seams waiting for this "Dream" cruise!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, just realized that some of the info that I posted earlier on for this cruise is not and will not be accurate when we cruise. Zac (DS) will be 18, this cruise is going to be a graduation surprise for him, Alexis(DD) will be 13 and Jacob(DS) will be 12. My how time flies by. I have not checked in on this for several months and was just thinking about cruisin, making plans for next summer. This summer is a bust with all the kids going to different camps at different times, and work, well that is a 4 letter word. It has been crazy this year for some reason.

We have done 2 Disney cruises already, both with lots of family members, we spend so much time worry about and checking on them, we never seemed to make time for ourselves. It didn't help that the kids were younger either. This cruise will be all about us enjoying ourselves. We can let the kids go have fun and we can hang out and relax. I am looking forward to 2 days at CC on this cruise. This should be a "Dream Cruise" no pun intended.

Have any plans been made for FE gift exchange? Theme for the group? etc..? I must admit that it is easier to ask then to read the 38 pages to find the answers.

Just to get the planning process started, I got DW some spa products from H2O + for Mothers Day, just like the stuff they have in the rooms on the boat. She got all excited about our cruise next summer.

We will likely go to WDW before the cruise for a couple of days. Since our APs will still be good, we are just going to go for as long as we can. I actually need to start looking at DVC point charts soon and book our home resort, but it feels so insane to be looking at booking a stay for 2011, when we still haven't taken either of our 2010 trips.

It certainly is nice to relax and not worry about the kids.
My son, who will be almost 21 by cruise time is really looking forward
to seeing Disney from the adult aspect this time. I told him how much
he's going to love the adult beach on CC

I don't think I'm doing the FE this time but it has been mentioned somewhere earlier in this thread.

A group of friends I've sailed with before is doing something different and having like a secret santa deal where you just buy for one room.
I thought that was an easier idea.
Cause I'm just tired of trying to come up with something for 30 people, assembling it all and packing it all and then taking stuff home from 30 people. It just gets too be a bit much, although I love the
stuff.

Hello

I hope everyone is doing well. Things have been busy with the spring sports and DS and DD are doing well. It hard to believe but in less than 30 day we will be in WDW from June 6-13. We will be driving from Cincinnati for the first time so it should be interesting. We will be staying at AKV(1 bed) for 5 days and then BLT for 3 days in a studio(that’s going to be cramped). I am looking forward to seeing the new fireworks show from the BLT lounge. I will make sure to get some video.

We have stayed at several of the DVC resorts but this will be our first time at BLT and AKV. We are spending a little extra time this year since next year with the cruise we will skip WDW.

DS and I will be spending one day at universal and hoping to get into the new Harry Potter area but we are not sure if we can get in.

I have been keeping up to date with the Dream’s progress and DCL updates on facebook. It all looks amazing.

First highlight and copy the link you made.
Then go to:
User CP
Then under settings and options choose
Edit Signature

In the box, click on the square yellow button with the landscape of the mountain. It says insert image, paste your link in here.
Click ok.

Preview to make sure it's there, and you should be good
