I got a call back from DCL...Ironically, his name is Roy. LOL Anyway, they are now in control of my ressies again. They took off the other agent...who I never authorized? Anyway, he asked if we would be willing to upgrade since cabins are becoming few and far between. I told him that we chose these cabins because they fit into our budget. I don't know if we can, or want to, pay more. He said he would have to do some juggling and call me back in a few days. I am SO bummed our cabin choices are gone! We were looking forward to our personal secret deck 7!!!

I hope it all gets worked out. I was very nervous about my booking because I transferred it on the first day and it was crazy. I know I did look the other day and the lowest cat. they had was 5E. I am glad we booked on the first day because we probably wouldn't be going if we had to pay for a balcony.

I don't believe a thread has been started for the kiddos yet.

My kiddo is too young. He doesn't know how to read yet.

Can we add onto the first post a list of birthdays that will be celebrated during the cruise? We will be celebrating my DD's 16th birthday and I know I saw another Diser that has a DD's 16th birthday during that time also, but I can't find her.

I love the C2D2 ideas. I have seen alot of Disney characters as Star Wars characters.

We did the wine tasting the first cruise, martini tasting the second. Both were very good.

Hello Fellow Cruisers!!!

I got a call back from Roy today! Good news!! We were able to keep the cat 11A and he moved us from a cat 6B to a 6A! We are now in cabins 8182 and 8671. (Crystal, can you change that on the main page? THANKS!) We'll be on the same floor, but about 5 doors down. (Unlike the ressie we received that has us on decks 5 and 10!) Our original cabins were only able to sleep 3 each. So we would have had to have one of the boys to bunk with my inlaws, which was never a problem, but these new cabins both sleep 4, so we can have both the boys with us and that gives my inlaws a room to themselves! PERFECT! I am feeling the pixie dust and we haven't even set sail yet! I need to call Roy back and thank him for his work on getting this straightened out. I was at work at the time and it was a bit crazy and I don't think I thanked him properly!

Now to focus on the activities of this cruise! I might have to hang with the Martini Girls a bit! I have never had a martini. Maybe something I should try? I am usually a Captain Morgan Girl.

The sun is shining bright today! I LOVE IT!!! I'd LOVE to wash my truck but it's still only 43 degrees outside! I might have to find my rubber gloves and just do it. It's so covered in salt, it's gross.

Off to sort and maybe clean up a bit, then the evening shuffle begins.....

We've done both the wine and martini, tequila too.

It would be third time for wine. Probably same kind of presentation but for $15 bucks or so, it's still such a good deal!

Same with martini, that was my first. I went with 4 others girls. We had so
much fun! Of course we all got a bit tipsy, then ordered another round.... or was it two? ...... after it was over, and then we were politely asked to either leave or be more quiet as we were giggling and having fun and getting a bit too loud apparently for the small gathering that we didn't notice that had come in to do their beer tasting

So we carried our party back out to Quiet Cove area to meet up with the guys.

Definitely doing that again

Oh, and I forgot to say....about deck 7....on the Dream there are cabins that are at the back of the ship that look over the end. We had originally chosen 2 rooms that looked over the back of the ship on deck 7...so that could have been my personal, private deck 7....even though it was really my balcony to my deck 7 room! there is no Secret Deck 7 on the Dream..... Bummer......

The martini tasting is a must again, but I think it was more than 2 but who's counting. lol but hey, 2 sounds like a good number to stick with. The beer tasters looked a bit too serious. They should have joined our party to lighten up.

I wasn't even thinking of Star Wars when I first suggested C2D2 -- but it does fit nicely. (And my boys might disown me if they knew I missed such an obvious connection.)

I like the C2D2 Idea!! then we can use a tag line of something like...."May the Dream be with you"? Or "Use the Dream, Donald"? "Donald, I am your father ~ Walt" I dunno, I am sure there are other well known lines from the movie that I am forgetting that we could doctor up! Cute Idea!!!!

We will be celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary. It is actually June 24th, but we will be celebrating early.
