Disney Dream January 27, 2013 4 nights

I think waiting is fine! (Of course, I'll probably be buying things, so not crafty! I even bought the fish extender! Lol!):rotfl:

I bought my FE as well. I got a wall organizer from IKEA for less than $5. I have some Disney stickers and duct tape so that I can personalize it and Disney it up some without having to get too crafty (which I am not).

I had one custom made so it was pricey. I bought it on Etsy. But it's SOOOO cute. I tried to post the link but I'm too new to post.
It's personalized with our names on it.
What shore excursions are you all planning in Nassau? We haven't decided.

PS - If you go to etsy and search for Disney fish extender a lot of options show up. I ordered from the seller ilvDisney2008 - she is fast and the one she made for us is adorable!

We joined the cruise this week. Three of us in two cabins. DM is 80 and has been on DCL before, but not the new ships. DW and I will be on our first DCL.

Since its blizzard time of year here, we are flying down two days before, staying at OKW. After the cruise, we are staying at BWV.

Any thoughts on the temps tend weather to expect?

Welcome dizfan!! We have been to WDW twice at the end of January and both times it was in the 70's. We are hoping that our luck continues to run that way. Anything is better than the cloudy, cold, snowy of the Midwest in January!!

ktj-In Nassau, I think we will get off the ship and get a keepsake or two then get back on the ship. I am leaning toward the Harbor Cruise, if we decide to do an excursion.

I got our reservations made for our WDW trip before the cruise. Now, I just have to wait the 3 months plus few day until we can start this great trip.

We will also be on the Jan. 27th cruise. In our cabin is my husband and I as well as our sons ages 4 and 8. I will email you our information for the FE. Can't wait!

Hello! Thinking we will book this cruise in the next week or so - looks like a great group and already a good size FE - I did see you were planning on holding it open until the holidays - is that still the case - my son who will be 8 at the time of the cruise LOVES this part of the trip!!!

I will let the correct person know as soon as we are offically booked!!

Completely agree!
Really depressing when we leave for work and its dark. When we come back home it's dark.

Looking forward to the cruise.
Also looking forward to finding out what the weekly park promotions will be before and after the cruise.

I have had a couple of people respond that holding the FE open until January 4th was fine. No one has said that it would be a problem. So unless someone says that it is a problem, the FE will close on January 4th to new people.

I look forward to getting your info as soon as you are booked!!

Hello!
My sister and I are taking our children on this cruise and we can't wait! I booked it opening day and have been waiting patiently for someone to start a meet thread!! This will be mine and my son's second Disney cruise. We sailed the Med last summer and it was a blast! My name is Casey, my sister is Cory, and my son Christopher is 5 and Cory's daughter Gianna is 6! (leaving DH home with the baby this time around LOL) We are so excited to sail on the Dream! We would love to be a part of the FE if possible. That was for sure the highlight of our last cruise for my son! We are in room 9579. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I just booked my flight to Orlando from California! So excited!!!! Glad to see so many new people on here! It's amazing! We're all going to have a fabulous trip! Looking forward to sitting on the beach and enjoying meeting new people.:beach:

We are from Brazil and we are going to join this Cruise, it is also our first time. It will be my DH, my 2 DS (age 7 and 9) and my DM and DD. We will be celebrating my DS birthday. It is the first time I hear about this Fisher Exchange, can some one explain how it work? What kind of things we put into them?

Do you know anybody else from Brazil in this cruise, my kids don't speak English :-( so it would the better for them to meet people who speaks Portuguese!!!

Thanks

Welcome Fafa!:cool1:

The Fish Exchange has many posts on the main forum as to what they are and items to put in them. I would just type in FE in the search in the forum and you should see lots of posts for them. Basically, it is hanging pockets from the fish that it is outside your door. The items for it can be hand made items or store bought and whatever you would like to give.

We only speak English here. Hopefully, there will be someone on here that also speaks Portuguese.

Getting ready for my late night/early morning online check in! WOOHOO!!!!:thumbsup2
