MereDisney - Thank you so much offering to head up the FE. I flirted with the idea but to be honest I would be completely lost so I'm so happy that you will be willing to do it. I've kept a list of the yes and no - so far we have 25 adults and 5 children - 9 rooms so hopefully it won't be too hard to coordinate. I started on my gifts yesterday - nothing fancy mind you. It is just fun to go back to your room and find a little something in your FE. Again thanks for volunteering. Anna

Ok, this is my first attempt at organizing a list for everyone that is interested in participating in the FE. Please let me know if I've made any mistakes or if I have left anyone out. Also, the picture looks a little blurry, but if you'd like I will send it out by email when the cruise gets a little closer...just incase cabin assignments change. Thank You!!

Thanks for organizing the FE. As my daughter said we have never done a FE so we are looking forward to this even if it's on a smaller scale. This will give us a chance to participate while touring the ship.

I wasn't planning on the FE thing....but this got me to thinking.

How many Boys and Girls Club families are going to be on the ship?

If we somehow got a cheap FE extender for each of these families, I would be more than happy to participate in that.....

Any ideas?

There are 45 children and 24 parents/chaperons. I think that is a great idea, although I am not sure that we would be able to find out what rooms they were staying in. I would think they will be grouped in one area of the boat. Being new to the FEs I was reading other boards looking for ideas and some people mentioned that they even used plastic bags for the FE and left things like stickers, pencils, candy etc, so the expense wouldn't be that great. This would be a great surprise for these kids. Anyone else?

Just found this thread.....very excited about being on the preview cruise. Myself(56) my wife(45) and son(17) booked in room 6626. We have a b2b cruise booked in May(3 nite and 5 nite) and was shocked when a friend(CM) asked if we were interested in this one. This is our Christmas

While we are not participating in the FE this time around. I would love to contribute some FE gifts. I believe I have some items left over from hosting one of the DCL house parties that would make good FE's and I can also make up some magnets.

My guess is that everything could just be dropped off at GS and they would make sure it got delivered.

If anyone wants to undertake this just let me know and I will bring whatever I have and make sure you get it

We'll undertake it We've started on coming up with ideas for bags. Once we have a good idea, we'll post a picture

Just post if you'll like to participate and we were thinking of anyone who has items to add to come to our room at 3pm on the first day and we'll put the bags together and then if anyone wants to join in the walk of bags to GS

Yes, I think we should divide bags for the adults and children. I am also going to mention it to my friend who is going on the cruise but isn't on the disboard.
