We had a very serious fire on the 528 Beachline today, this is the road that goes into the port. You will need to find another way of getting in. I would recommend you call Disney and ask them the best way of getting there. This road will be closed for at least a month.

I have been wrestling with the decision as to whether or not to bring my laptop on this trip. I will be arriving on Monday (my AP has expired, so parks are not an option). After the cruise I will be leaving on Monday the 31st.

So - what are your thoughts (a general open question!).

whew...that must have been some hit...to destroy a bridge...I agree that it is sad that folks died.

It's just after 3am on the west coast and we're headed to the airport

Woke up to no water in the house today....the pipes are frozen. Our temps overnight have been subzero. We're leaving here in just an hour and a bit. We're scheduled to pick up our car rental and start our drive south. John's adult son will be staying here while we're gone to take care of the house and the pets. He will have to take care of the frozen water pipes too. For us.....it's time for Calgon to take us away......!!!!

A record was set 30 min from leaving hotel, checking bags(not curbside) , through security and I got scanned, train to b gates, and in red carpet club, wahoo that was amazing

Thinking about hitting the MK tonight to see Making Memories show, if it is playing, I know I am prob incorrect on the name.

UGH!! The 80 FE gifts don't all fit in the carry on I was planning on using. Plus, still gotta carry on our "refreshments". I could put them in an extra suitcase and check it in at the port, but then I'll be afraid they would get damaged. Or I can try to find a box big enough and put them in that. Do you guys think that'll be better than the suitcase for protection. All our suitcase are soft shelled? In the past I just carried on all the gifts. The problem is that they are assembled so don't pack as nicely. I used to assemble the first day, but there are way too many to do that this time.

Safe travels to everyone and congratulations to everyone who's already made it to the WORLD!!!

We are watching the weather and hope to still get out of Philadelphia airport on Tuesday afternoon!!! Will see everyone at the BBQ! Then on the DREAM!

Thank goodness we are in Ocala and will be at WDW tomorrow and don't have to worry about weather anymore. Good luck to all of you that have to fly out and may be getting bad weather again. Glad to see the sun and no snow.

Thanks so much for the directions. We do appreciate it now will check on a detour because of the crash on the bridge. It was a double fatality and a huge fire involved so I'm sure that did a lot of damage.
