Disney dream departing May 29

More people. And it looks like many of us are first time cruisers. This will be fun. So let's start to get to know each other a bit. What are your hobbies? How many times have you been to Disney parks? Favorite colors? Favorite snacks? Least favorite attraction at WDW? Favorite character interaction you've had. Food or drink you are excited to try on the trip.

So here are mine: I'm a knitter, so you will probably see me with a little bag hanging from my wrist and a pair of knitting needles going. I'm also a children's bookseller, so reading is another of my passions. And I love to cook, so all this food talk makes me hungry. We've been to the Disney parks probably over 30 times. We quit keeping track several years ago. Favorite colors are blue (all shades of blue) and bright greens (lime especially). Favorite snacks: dark chocolate, trail mixes, and pretzels (and fruit). Least favorite attraction at WDW is a toss up between Dinosaur and Stitch (even though I love Stitch). Favorite character interaction was meeting Hiro and Baymax this past February. They were so fantastic and when Hiro found out I had daughters he asked if they were into science and engineering.

Food or drink I'm excited about trying? If it is a dessert, I'm trying it. I may order several each night. Also hoping to get to take the Mixology event.

So here's what you need to do if you are interested. Reply to this thread (don't alter your original post or I may not see it) and give me the following information:

3. Give me your stateroom number (if guarantee, then just put GTY)
4. Give me sex and ages of those in each cabin (i.e., F14, M12) or list Adult. If you are comfortable leave names as well.

Well, I live about 30 minutes from Disneyworld and so I have to say my hobby IS Disney lol. This will be the 5th cruise for DS and I- can't wait to be gold! I am also a DVC owner- so I probably should get some help with my Disney addiction. Least favorite ride is Astro Orbiter. Favorite color wine/magenta. Favorite character interaction was Jack Sparrow on one of our first cruises. I am excited to try any of the mixology or tastings- will have my brother and sister-in-law along (their first cruise) and I think it will be a blast.

I love scrapbooking and reading (especially about Disney). My sister and I were raised as Disney children and have been to Disney World countless times since we were little. I completed the Disney College Program in the Spring of 2013 working on Main Street doing Parade Audience Control, which just made me love it even more! Our favorite colors are purple and pink and we love anything chocolate. My favorite characters are Belle and Donald, so I love meeting them, but I also love meeting Gaston because he always does fun interactions. One special interaction I had was meeting Oswald at Disneyland! I look forward to trying all the desserts on this trip and we are excited for our first cruise!!

I received my first cruise e-mail since booking my trip. So excited. Even though it's mostly information I already knew, it was so cool to get cruise mail. I'm trying to put together a spreadsheet for myself so I can keep up with all the people who have joined and their ages and whatnot.

Sorry haven't gotten to it yet. Will in the next day or two. My old laptop died and I had to replace it. Ended up switching from PC to a Mac so having to relearn software. Hopefully I will get the spreadsheet worked up by Wednesday afternoon at the latest. (Also had to switch banks because our old bank caused us to lose $200 on our room because they denied the charges for the cruise because it was over $2500 and it was a Friday afternoon and there was NO ONE to contact except if our cards were stolen so we've been dealing with that mess as well.)

Oh my no worries, that's awful! I'm sorry you had to deal with all that! I was just curious I started preparing the gifts and wanted to make sure the numbers I had matched.

Just so everyone knows, I found a great deal on highlighters, so each cabin is getting a set. Thought I'd throw that out there before someone decides to get highlighters and then we have ten sets.
