Disney Dream Cruisers November 27, 2011

Thanks so much, Cayla! :worship:

I'm OK with stairs. Just had nightmares of having to have my derriere pried out of the inner tube like a champaign cork :rotfl:and the cast members needing to hoist me up like a beached whale!! :scared1:

I so want to ride the aquaduck and hubby plans to ride it until he's dizzy...good luck to him and the Red Sox!!:cool2:

Can't wait for this cruise and meeting all of great people on this wonderful disboard group!!:dance3:

Happy Week-end!!:banana::banana::banana:
Carol

I guess the video worked....I am SURE you will be able to get off this thing with little difficulty and certainly no prying necessary!

You are SO going to love this ride....it is a nice slow cruise around the ship - I loved being able to see off the ship and look around...way kewl!

Please add my family to the FE exchange. We are Dan and Diane, Tom and Brooke and my grandkids, Kaelin 3 1/2 and Cason 1 1/2. We are in room 2021.

Help us out a little, you list 4 adults and 2 children, but only one room. Do you have a second room booked for the other adults? Are they participating in the FE?

Thanks for clarifying :)

Hi everyone
Unfortunately due to some changes in our travel plans/baggage allowance prior to the cruise we are no longer able to participate in the FE - can you please remove us from the list?
Thanks for all the information about Disney World at Christmas - we are headed there after the cruise and are really excited to see it decorated for the holidays!

sorry to hear that....I understand the issue - when I did my B2B2B I had a horrible time working the weight in....I actually shipped stuff to myself...BOTH WAYS!!!

I can't believe the cruise is finally getting close! I created a spreadsheet with all the info for those doing the fish extender. Once we hit the deadline to close, I'll be happy to share it with anyone who PMs me.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone! I'm on facebook if anyone wants to friend me there. I'm on there much more often than here.

Got all my ressies done, etc... only thing left to plan now is Candlelight Processional dining package on the 26th.
Can't wait! :thumbsup2

All you really need to do is post here on the thread your names, your daughter's age (helps with selecting gifts), cabin number, and any other special info about your trip (birthday, anniversary, etc)

Welcome aboard!! :cheer2::cheer2:

We are officially PIF and joining the FE exchange! :cool1:

We are Dawn (Me), Rob (DH), Barbara (DM) and Emily(DD - 3yo).
We are in cabin 2032.

We are having a little mini family reunion. We have 4 cabins total and 13 people. I'll be posting FE info for our cousins and their boys in a few weeks. I need to call her and find out their cabin number. They want to join in the fun but haven't joined the DIS yet.

We are 1st time Disney Cruisers - I accept helpful chat from anyone. hoping to do fish extenders - I heard it's fun!! Love to hear from you.

:rotfl:

Welcome new cruisers!!

For all of you who are cruising or cruising Disney for the first time- we were there last cruise. DH is retired Navy and didn't like the idea of cruising after doing it forever.
I had to convince him that civilian cruising was DIFFERENT, and we took the plunge with the 4 night cruise identical to this one 2 years ago.

We had a blast doing the FE, and as you can see- we got a bit sidetracked for our next cruise. It came up at the last minute, and the price couldn't be beat- so we're going for it!!

Don't stress, don't overpack- and have a great time!!

Just wanted to say hi; took some time this weekend to read a few Disney Dream trip reports. Lot's to think about. I loved the TR where the family went and stayed 2 nights and then added 1 more night after the cruise; very fun!!! Booked AKV for 1 night before cruise then taking the bus to the ship. Have to plan the return after the cruise though!!!! ADR's are approaching soon also for November/December. Can DVC members make ADRs if not staying at a Disney property? We have 3 nights off site after the cruise.
Decided on our FE gifts; so I have most the supplies. Just need to make the FE or ask a friend for help!!! Also looking for pirate stuff.

Hello to the new folks who have joined us!!!!

There is an official FE List on the First page of this thread it is post #4, here is a link to the post.
http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=34593622&postcount=4
All that is needed to join the list is your cabin #, the names of the individuals in the room, and the ages and sex of the children in the room.

There is also a group on Facebook for this cruise. There is a lot of good conversations going on there, please come join us there as well. It is called "Dreaming of the Holidays - November 27th, 2011" here is the link for that as well.

117 days left!!!! But as Becki tells me, "But who is counting?" lol

And yes, There will be a little meet and greet on the ship, once it gets closer we will nail down some times and places.

Happy planning and dreaming!!!!

Hi Everyone :)

Hope you are all enjoying the summer -- getting really excited - can book excursions/Palo soon :cool1:

I'm not on Facebook very much at all but do have an account - so will look for the group (thanks for setting that up :thumbsup2)

Happy planning :)

.

Hi!

Saw your post and not sure how to tell you this - but - ADRs have been open since the end of May --- sorry --- it was changed from 3 months in advance to 6 months in advance awhile ago :(

So good news is you can make them now (on line if you'd like) - bad news is some popular places may not have availability --- but don't give up, things always open up :). And yes, as a DVC member you can book ADRs if you are staying offsite.

AKL is great!!! Enjoy your stay there!

My DW and I have signed up for this cruise and we would like to participate in the FE activity. I'm new to DIS, so I'm not too sure how to sign up for the FE. I don't have a cabin number just yet. It will be just me and my wife on the cruise. Is there any other info needed?
We're looking forward to the cruise and to meeting fellow DIS members.
