I would like to start having my FE stuff ready to go. Will there be a cap to how many families we add to the group.?

Should we pull the info off this thread or will we each get a list?.

Also...is there a system for giving? In looking at past threads everyone seems to adopt a different system.

Hi. I also agree there should some fSo far I count 5 families and 11-13 kids in total, assuming Knockadoodle's Starlet and Evan are kids

A cap is a good idea so we can start planning but I don't know how that works so defer to a more experienced dis-boarder to provide some guidance.

One idea is a family(or two) gives their gifts per day. That depends upon the final count of families that participate. That way there is something for the kids to look forward to every day.

I believe Judy was going to update the list. My quickly counted since I was out running errands for the cruise!

Hi Irish Cowboy. Is there a limit to the number of families/cabins in the FE program? Or a deadline? Any guidance you can provide would be helpful. Some of us would like to start preparing but need to know how many families, kids etc. Thank you, Christy

I read on the Disboard 'Disney Dream March 25, 2016 Fish Extender Exchange Group' that their FE has a closing date of February 25th, 2016. This allows people time to order, make, assemble, personalize, etc their gifts.

Does anyone know how the closing dates are determined?

Does anyone know how the closing dates are determined?

The group figures out what closing date they want. It depends on how much time everyone wants to get their gifts together. I've seen some groups close as close to the cruise as 2 weeks, and others 60 days out.

I like a cap of 10 families. That would be a good number to make it manageable for everyone. Also I like Christy's idea of having a couple of families go each night. Just my thoughts.

5- Favorite Character: Steve - Sully, Chewbacca, Kim - Rapunzel, Autumn - Any of the Princesses, Nate - Baymax, Mickey, Olaf

Thank you PrincessShmoo. I'd like to suggest that the deadline for families to join this FE group is January 31st or 10 families, whichever comes sooner. That leaves roughly 45 days for this group to prepare, and also 3-4 FE families to give FE gifts per day (the Cruise is 3 nights).

Hi Judy. So far I count on this thread 7 families, with 13 kids and 10 adults.

I am making up a chart and will send it for sure by early next week. I want everyone to check and make sure we have the info right etc before finalizing it. I know I didn't even put in my room number yet but at some point we will need to do that so we can figure out where we're going

Then we can all decide if we want to split up the families which will depend on our final numbers.

I'm getting excited.. less than 2 months away already
