We too will try to make it to Yeehaw Bob's, but no promises. If we do go, how will we recognize Dis'ers from our cruise???

The River Roost Lounge, where Yehaa Bob plays, is very small. There is no need for a sign. I think a quick shout on the boards that u are in transit to POR or are actually there... and a subsequent PM or two will do the trick. I think only two or three DISers plan to make it anyway... (I know HowieHowie and I plan to plan to make it)

If not, Bob sort of mingles with the crowd before the show... he will make sure we all know each other by the end of the night. TRUST ME on this point! He may introduce us to non DISers on the cruise!

Currently at Vero Beach watching the wind, rain and waves and being amazed at the people trying to surf!! Looks like Irene will go right over Castaway Cay. 

Well I've changed my flight. I don't want to take the chance tomorrow. Now I'm scrambling to make a 6:30 flight out of white plains.

Just spoke to the front desk about our cruise....they said everything is staying the same. They said even the 8/25 3 day cruise stayed the same.

Hi guys after an 1 1/2 hours on the tar mat we had a wonderful flight and we did stop at waffle house yum:0) before driving to port still undecided about Tommorow night ? Will post sat around lunch time ?

According to USA Today, the 8/25 cruise will not visit CC, but will instead spend 2 days in Nassau. Haven't heard any confirmation from those on the cruise, but that's what the news is currently reporting...

Jeff glad you made it to the Sunshine State. The temp for Saturday in Orlando is supposed to be 95. I asked a different front desk Friday nite and was told according to DCL, Dream was still going to CC on Tuesday. But I suspect that this is just the standard answer, considering all the other posts. Call my cell on Saturday. We still intend to see Yeehaw Bob tonite and when we last saw Debbie she also intended to go. Again happy to hear that you are here.

I am on the dream right now - no we are not going to CC - the CM i spoke to says there was alot of damage on the island so we are going to nassua twice. that same CM said that she didnt think that the next cruise (this one - 8/28/2011) will go to cc either -

Sorry to hear that! Please keep us informed if you hear anything more about CC. We are on the 9/1 cruise and hoping it will be operational by then!

Port authority is not allowing planes to land in any NYC after12 noon today. It seems like they are letting planes leave after 12 noon as my 12:42 not cancelled (but all later flts to mco are).

At airport now.

If cancelled the back up plan is to fly out of hartford at 4pm.

I made it out of ny on the very last flight out of LGA. Literally when we boarded the plane and looked back in the terminal, it was a ghost town.

We are wrapping up dinner at Sanaa and will head over to yehaa bob. Should be there by 8. Prob means I will get stuck standing. I am wearing a tan t shirt my DDs are wearing American idol shirts.

We had a lovely dinner at the same place we had lunch at the sunrise diner but the best part was dessert we stopped at Dairy Queen my favorite soft serve lol :0)
