Disney Dream come True 8/28/2011

I can't believe we missed the earthquake. Hope everyone is ok. I spoke to friends and they said their house was shaking and stuff was rattling. I just hope my pictures and stuff on my shelves didn't fall off. Spent a very nice day (rained the whole afternoon) with Debbie & Emmanuela at Studios. Had a little magic with a cast member manager....we were talking to him by Fantasmic and he gave us fastpasses to Toy Story.

With a Cat 3 or 4 storm barreling thru, for sure they will evacuate staff from CC (prob the current 4 day or the following 3 day will take them off the island - I think today is a CC day for the Dream... so we may hear some news on that front later). My fear is that CC wont be 'ready' for us. Fingers crossed we all get down there in time and every one is safe and sound. We will just have to 'deal' with itinerary changes as they happen (maybe they will send us to Key West instead - I wouldn't mind Key West)

Never been to Key West...I also wouldn't mind going there. Have a safe trip down on Saturday and hope to see you Sat night.

sorry guys i could not do it again we only had to do our carry ons today and i printed and douldbled check all reservations only thing left is to call DVC about not putting me at the end with my leg it is not going to happend .
i'm doing OK hanging in stayed in all day today feel like im going to go jack nicholson on 2 kids lmao Oceanears club where are u when i need you lol See you guys really soon .

Nervous about whether our itinerary is going to change. If so, my main fish extender gift cant technically get finished (you'll know what I mean when u get it). I am working on plan B and plan C as we speak.

Nearly fully packed.

Tomorrow technically starts my vacation as I drive to the office. Will leave early and head to Atlantic City. Steak dinner and gambling w the fellas on Thursday nite. Golf on Fri AM. Fantasy Football draft on Friday nite. Drive back home. And fly out to WDW on Saturday.

I have been in this fantasy football league for about 15 years... and have done the flying to WDW the day after the draft for approx 5 of the last 6 years. Usually I take a bus down and back so I can get some rest. But I need to drive this year since I came in last place I have to buy all the food and drink for 10 men (ugh). (First time in last place in 15 years)

I'm with Sil, I hope everything goes smoothly for our Saturday departures. I have some full days ahead. I'm at work right now. When I get home this afternoon I need to do laundry, cook dinner & take out the braids from Tati's hair. Tomorrow we head to the hairdresser early for a wash & then another salon to get our hair braided. Then home to pack (no I have not packed yet). Then the rest of the night straightening up the house. I won't be getting any sleep before my flight on Saturday.

We leave today! And...I didn't get any sleep last night (worst than a kid at Christmas!). I own a hair salon and a few of my customers gave me the old..."But I didn't know you were going on vacation and I really need my hair done!"...yes, I fell for it, so I am WORKING this morning... I'm a sucker.
But we head out at 12:15 today, woohoooo! We too will try to make it to Yeehaw Bob's, but no promises. If we do go, how will we recognize Dis'ers from our cruise???

No sleep usually thats me tonight but it has been last 3 days plus tonight will be worst
look at that bright side a dollars more for disney as for the meet if I go my picture has been all over not hard to find a happy pooh sized person laughing hope i can make it . usually people will be watching for people to join in or have some kind of sidn or something green on ? i'm not running this one but if i come i will make a sign today
