great plans and sure love the picture :wizard:

If it were me, Jeff, I would stick with my rental car. I am not a huge fan of public or Disney transport, too much waiting (and standing) on buses. We also like to go shopping, outlet, groceries, souvenirs and with a car these are easy to reach.
We will return our rental before the cruise too and pick up another one after it.

Howie: Great plans and fantastic photo of the family! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Jeff: Sorry I don't know anything to help you with your dilemma. I would just go with what you are most comfortable with and really feel like would bring the most enjoyment to your vacation. For example, I am renting a car for the first couple weeks of my time in Florida (visiting family) and the first week at Disney, then I am returning it a week before we cruise, because I would rather take the shuttle to the port. See?? No matter what other people tell you, what's best for you may be very different. Good luck!

as i just posted i think the reason im looking else where and taking into consideration i drive as a second job and i will be up real early on departure day then a 2 hour wait like to get to airport early then 3 hour flight and top it with a 2 hour drive . = long long day as well as after a magical 4 day cruise the drive to disney . this is what is kind of :scared1: scaring me or an un settling drive since i know all the driving will be all up to me

I would have to agree to do whichever you're most comfortable with. I'm keeping our rental for the ntire 8 days and parking at the port. I like to do things on my own time especially driving. So it's all up to you.

I got a great rate from Alamo for a compact car (just me & DD) so I couldn't pass it up. I also used a discount code from BJs.

See Jeff, this is where there is the big difference between us ...... for us driving in the US is fun. I have to drive quite a way to work, so I love having a chauffeur, but Tom really enjoys it, so Disney transport is not an opion.

In your case, well, Disney transport might even look quite tempting. Sleep on it, think it through, we still have 2 months until we set sail! :goodvibes
