This is our second cruise, so I have to admit that I scoured the boards wondering what the Castaway Club Gift would be.... and TADAH! there it is!
You guys are the best...
We are planning a precruise trip to Disney and I'm addicted to finding out how in the heck we will use the Dining Plan.
I hear alot of Dis-ers are strategic on this. Any ideas/recommendations?
Oh, and any advice between the Allstar Music vs. Pop Century?
Last but not least, is it worth it to get a premium room for $140
(near the transportation/food court)?
Again thanks for the pics... we're getting excited!

Hi Elizabeth!
I am very happy I could help with the photos and I am very happy to answer any questions about your resorts and DDP.
DDP - which one will you buy? Quick service, Basic DDP or Deluxe DDP?
Which ever you decide, go to the food section of the boards - there is a whole thread of food photos, so you can see what you are going to get - even better - go to the food reviews in my signature!

Best thing to do is, go to allears.net and have a look at the menus.
You CAN access August hours already - I have done MY planning and am set to book those ADRs. (Go to the calendar - pick July and at the very bottom are very light grey numbers - pick any - they are for August and then click next day).
As for Pop and All Stars - we have stayed at both. Pop is newer and it does NOT share a bus. Very important if you use Disney transport.
A preferred room will get you very close to the main building and food court. This would especially be helpful if you get the resort mugs and don't want to hike to the food court for your morning coffee.
The resorts are HUGE.
And I just checked the Disney site - POP IS available - I checked the discounted room offer!

Any more questions - fire away!
