Disney Dream 7006, 7504, 8006, 8504

Wow, these cabins look great. We are GTY, cat 9A, for the Dream 5/12/11 sailing.

My daughter and I were in 8504 for the MV of the Dream Jan. 26th. We felt like we were in a "secret attic".

At first when we walked in, I wasn't so sure about the slanted walls, but we ended up loving them and we love the spaciousness of the room.

The room was extremely quiet. Loved the porthole.

Didn't love that the couch was so far away from the tv.

I would definitely book that room again.

Am booked in 8502 for the MV of the Fantasy. My next door neighbors showed me 8502 on the Dream. It is also large and I will be extremely happy having that much space for the Fantasy.

Thanks so much for everyone who posted pictures of these rooms. We are booked in 7006 in February '12, and love the idea of more floor space.

Well, I can't believe it was 13 months ago that I started this thread. We board the Dream tomorrow and I can't wait!

I will be sure to post our impressions of room 7006 and post pictures when we get back.

Woo hoo!

Here are our pics of 7006.

We didn't mind the pole at the foot of the bed. My memories of the room don't even really include it and I was surprised to remember it when I was reviewing my photos.

So in 7006 it looks like you can see the TV from the couch. We are in 8006 amd this is kind of important for us as we like to order room service and watch a movie in the room. Sitting on the bed eating so we could see the TV didn't appeal to me. I also don't like that they don't have the tables on the Dream that raise up like they do on the Wonder/Magic.

If someone who has stayed in room 8006 on the Dream could post pictures that would be greatly appreciated!! I have a few questions about the room.......is there a divider curtain and can you see the TV from the bed?

No, there will be no divider curtain in 8006. This has been established from the photos of the other 9A corner rooms. The couch is on one side of the room, the bed in the middle, and the drop down bed on the far side of the room. If you look at the pictures above of 7006, you will see almost exactly what 8006 will look like.

Yes, without even knowing, I can assure you that you can see the TV from the bed. From the couch is the question.

Has anyone stayed in 7504? Am I correct in assuming that it will look just like 8504? I've seen pics of 6504 and 8504 but nothing yet for 7504.

We just put a deposit on the July 28, 2013 cruise -- and booked 8504! I'm psyched that it is now a 9D category room. A great price on a big room. I am excited to have a little more sq footage with my family -- me, hubby, and girls ages 8 and 10.

It's our first cruise ever! Now I only have 630-something days to wait.... :rotfl:

Dis you guys use the sofa sleeper in this room? Is it comfy?

Does the 7006 have a hide a bed or is there only the queen size bed and the couch?

Room 7006 on the Dream has a pull-down berth in addition to the queen size bed and the couch. There are pictures of the pull-down in its stowed position in tedhowe's entry (#25 above). Here are pictures of the pull-down in the extended position.
