I stayed up late tonight to start booking my reservations for the cruise. We did get Palo on the first night (we're doing the previous cruise too, so we won't miss any restaurants) and the excursion in Nassau my DH and DS wanted.

Hi btjhayes! Love the planner!! I would love to be a part of the meet and the fish extenders. My group is squeezing into one room for this one! Me, Amanda, my DH Ed, my DM NannyJac and my DD 11th Bday on 4/7 Abigail.

I propose a meet at 3pm in the Promenade Lounge - what do ya'll think?

I was also thinking about names for our group -
April fools (the girls will hate this one)
April flowers (the boys will hate this one)
April Diamonds (diamond is the stone for April)

Dream takers

I don't think I like any of these - any other ideas?

I know I am late to the naming party... but I still had an idea.

Since this is Spring Break for most of us, and we'll be on the Dream, why not...

We are new to this whole scene...our families first cruise ever! We were told to jump on here and get invovled, I have to say...you all speak a whole new language.

We are looking for a Fish Extender, but we have no idea what people give or what the expectations should be? We did think the kids would think it was cool!

Can someone lets us know the rules of the road? We don't want to disappoint!

Character = Kevin, Jeanette, Alivia (almost 5) and Kaitlyn (almost 3) and Nana!

We are also doing the parks first. Are you staying at Disney? We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. The FE Exchange should be a lot of fun. I ordered my extender from GradysMommy (I think that is the name) from Ebay. You will have several choices to pick from. As far as items, I've heard people give little rum bottles for the adults, note pads/pencils, stickers, highlighters, or homemade gifts....but I'm not crafty at all. I've also been looking at oriental trading...they have tons of things that are cute to give. we should be getting a final count soon...it seems we have a smaller group. My son is 8, so hoping he will have fun in the kids club...the reviews seem good.

I just posted a picture of some of the FE gifts we received on our September cruise on our FB page. We had a mixture of homemade and store bought items. We were THRILLED to get anything! We had so much fun! It was just my DH and myself for our 20th Anniversary and even though my DH gave me some grief for joining the exchange...HE was the one running to the room to see if anyone had dropped off a gift in our FE. It REALLY was a lot of fun.

You don't have to spend much...anything is great!!!!!

If you would still like to join the FB page...PM Amanda (AbsyBabsy). Start posting pictures on that page when you can so we can see who you are. We did that in September and found people in the line waiting to get in to the terminal for checkin.

Welcome..Our first cruise as well...We are also going to be at the parks however we are going for the 5 days after the cruise. (We will ll have to compare notes after to see which is better, before or after.) Cant Wait..

It looks like we CAN get thru to do the FE for those on the concierge level(s)...by either telling the concierge what we are doing or they will deliver items for us...but BEWARE...your doors are NOT magnetic.

Didn't want you to spend time making those fabulous magnets and not be able to us them! Maybe you can hang some from your FE!

I just wanted to let my fellow "Living the Dream" Teamers who are not on our FB page know that the online registration now has different port arrival times that you must choose. I read about this this morning and did my onboard check in and was able to pick the earliest time of 10:30 a.m. If you want an early check in then I would do it sooner rather than later when each time frame fills up.. ( I am not sure how strict they will be on the actual time frames however some people are sure to follow it so I am sure boarding will go smoother.. (I hope.)

Just spoke with Disney and for the "Orlandos" we may not have a cabin assignment until day before the cruise. They told me hopefully I will know sooner but there is no guarantee. As soon as I know I will let you know...if not, will tell you on the ship.
