Disney Dream - 7 April 2011 for 3 nights

My family and I got back last week

We were on 30th July to 7th August from Dover to Barcelona with Disney Cruise...

We had the fab times and we had the good weather, good sailing, and love the ports ...

also met two wonderful interpreters....

Sadly, we cancel this cruise as my husband couldn't get time off for extra days but we still sailing with Freedom of the Seas and miss out the Dreams Cruise try to book 17 April but it was sold out...

We booked the dummy dates for 20 July 2011 but think go move it to Eastern Med 2012 if rumour is right!!

Hi, welcome aboard...the cruise should be alot of fun for all of us. I think you will find your son is going to have a lot of fun actually. In some earlier posts, it sounded like there may be a teen thread started or in the works anyways...that may give him a good opportunity to chat with some of the others his age...that may help break the ice for him. In looking at pictures of the ship, the teen area looks really cool...wish they had something like that when I was that age. Anyways, welcome.

We should get our sons together via e-mail or Fb before the cruise. He will be 11 in January. Just a thought.

Sounds Great...We definetly will have to start a thread for the boys. I am super glad that so far there seems to be quite a few boys his age going..Now I just have to start excercising so I can put a swimsuit on. lol

We will also be on the 4/7 Dream Cruise. It is our first cruise and first trip to Disney. I am up for FE as well. Son 11 and Daughter 8 will love it. Let me know if I can help plan. Karel

second...if you want to join in on the FE exchange...let me know the following:

1) Your cast of characters (DH, DW, DD, DS, etc.) and ages
2) Your room number if you know it
3) Anything special about this cruise (First cruise, who's celebrating bday, anniv., graduation, being alive)
4) Where you live (City or state...whatever...I try to get it from your profile but some aren't listed)

If you don't want any or all of this info disclosed on this public forum...you can PM me and I'll keep track of it that way.

(We'll most likely close the FE signups around March 7ish, 2011.) I'll be PMing/emailing all of the participants an updated list as time goes on and we add more people!

Hi TJ, my mother decided to come with us, so there will be myself 45, DS 8 (Dominic) and my mother DM? 64(Beverly). We don't have a cabin number as of yet and we live in Commerce MI. Not celebrating anything special, just planning on making a few more Disney memories.

This should be a really fun cruise. Glad to see we are starting to get a few more people joining the thread. I've been trying to think of some fun sign ideas but still haven't come up with anything real cleaver yet. We are pretty excited, we will be staying 4 days at Wilderness Lodge and then the cruise, so should be a great way to end the vacation.

I'm glad this tiny board is picking up too. I know there's more people out there but I think they're busy gabbing on the 4/3 thread!

And the signs...I'm still stressing over trying to come up with a slogan/name but nothing good is coming. We just might have to steal from some others that I've seen..."Dream Come True Crew" and "Cruise-a-palooza." I really think we need DREAM in the name, don't you guys?

Got ya set as tentative FE and yes, I got your info. I totally understand about the room for the FE gifts. DH and I are going on an anniversary cruise on the Wonder in a few weeks and I just loaded a portion of my FE gifts in a suitcase...and it's almost full! It's gonna cost me a fortune to get them down there...and I'm too scared to ship them. Oh well...it'll be fun!

I was definetly interested in doing a FE..However, I was concerned about how much time it will take up on the boat.. (I have never done one before but love things like this.) Being that it is only a 3 day cruise and that you are off the boat during the days, Is there enough time? Regardless, Cant Wait..

Well...I haven't done one yet. First cruise is coming up in a few weeks. But even on a 3 day...people do them...and we're just going to make it a one trip delivery!

I like that one too. I will keep thinking as well, but that sounds good to me. I have 2 additional family members that will be cruising with us, but not sure if they will want to participate in the FE Exchange...will find out and let you know.
