DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

Heading too our DREAM cruise!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I can not wait....We plan too visit Universal on Friday and then head too Cape Canaveral on Saturday. I plan too stay at the Raddison or the Best Western Ocean...love the location by the Cocoa beach pier.:cloud9:

We plan too have dinner at Grills on Sat night and watch the ships set sail.

after the cruise we are going too stay at Disney a couple days and then fly home on Saturday...I need too start saving now....I am already so excited and I have a year too wait.....:woohoo: Gives me plenty of time too save...:rolleyes1

I know I want a Cabana massage on Castaway Cay this trip...:goodvibes

I think my countdown is for the 29th also, but we are heading down on the
26th.

We are driving down to help with costs next year, and after the cruise we are going to WDW for 4-5 nights, my question: What a good hotel to stay at the night before, do they book fast, how soon should I book, and finally does majority find it safer to leave their vehicles in the hotel lot or at the port?

You can book now for the Radisson...I checked the other day and it had a park and cruise rate of $139....Free shuttle and breakfast for 2...Not too shabby and we love the pool there. I am still undecided?

I hope ya'll don't mind me asking, but would anyone be willing to share their pricing for a Cat. 8 room on this cruise? They were all gone when we booked, so we're in a Cat. 5 right now, but I'm just wondering what the cost difference would have been for an 8 vs. a 5 (2 adults, 2 kids).

Thanks!

I believe we booked the last CAT 8 about a month ago. We ended up with a GTY room and the cost was $3,800. Hope that helps.

we'll be livin' the DREAM!!!! Now the serious countdown begins ...

CAN'T WAIT!!!

:banana: Doin' the Dream Dance!!:banana:

Just think - tomorrow we can all say it's
LESS THAN 1 YEAR AWAY!!!!

ditto on the Dream Dance :banana::banana::banana::banana:

We still need to come up with a name for the group... anyone have any
suggestions?

I'll start it off.....

The Triple D's (Dream Double Dip)

I am sure there are more creative people than me out there....:thumbsup2

One Year!
My suggestions:
Double Dip Castaways
or
Dreamers X Two

what about a quote/saying to go with it--

"The first to DREAM it twice!"

I like the phrase "The First to Dream it Twice".

Also, we are cruising on Memorial Day, so could work that in to the title.
Triple D is good, but it could even be DDDD if you add "Disney".

More ideas?? :)

Hi everyone! Booked a while back but just now joining the group on this thread. We are so excited to try a 2-stop CC cruise again.
We are Teresa 46 , Don DH 43, Riley DD 13 when we cruise, Alex DD 10 when we cruise. We're from SW Missouri and this is our 4th Disney Cruise (only the 3rd for the kids, we sneaked one in last November without them:thumbsup2).

We are in Cabin #8508 and doing late dining since it works better for us. Can't believe our cruise is less than a year away! Look forward to getting to know everyone.

Hello,
We are also here in Missouri (St.Louis area).....We work in the city, but live out on a farm in Dittmer Mo.... We have a DD that will be 13 when we sail too. Her name is Josie.:goodvibes

We are on deck 7 and have early seating..I hate eating late.;)

Are you guys planning to go down early?? Hoping for not many snow days this year....School is scheduled out on May 21. We plan too fly down the Thursday before and visit Universal for a couple days and then Disney after.

Welcome too the thread.:goodvibes

That's great to know that my DD will have someone her age on board! 13 is such a transitional age. We are planning to go down early as well; our kids are actually scheduled to get out of school on May 13th next year. This year we had a whole extra week added on to the end of school because of ice and snow, but even if that happens we should still have plenty of time. This year we scheduled to come to WDW on May 21st which turned out to be the same day as the last day of school because of the snow.
We hope to do Universal as well; don't know if we will hit WDW again since we just got back from there. We are really looking forward to the crusie and seeing the Dream. Just seems like such as long time to wait!

BTW - I like the "First to Dream It Twice" slogan. I would love to have shirts or something too.

:sail:Count us in on "The 1st to DREAM it twice" cruise! :boat:
:dance3: Me, hubby and our (will be 9 year old) :stitch: son.

Is there a Fish Extender FE sign up link? pixiedust::

Wanna do it All! :jumping1: :tigger: :Pinkbounc
:woohoo: :yay: :beach:

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted on this thread in a while because I was so busy getting ready for the 5/30/10 5-Day 'Double Dip' on the Wonder!! We just got back on Friday, and let me tell you guys....this cruise was WONDERFUL. Two stops at CC, combined with a day at sea, was perfect! And...the Wonder sailed at 100% capacity. I think that was the first time I'd been on a ship that was completely sold out.

Our upcoming cruise will be incredible as well, no doubt!!

So were there a formal & semi-formal night? Anything else that might be different from a 4 or 7 night cruise? Glad you had a fun time. I'm sure we all will next year.:cheer2:
