DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

Hi KSDisneyDaddy funny Cady is also looking forword to the teen area. She is so excited about the teen area the most. She just wishes for the cruise to be here now and to be longer than 5 days. Caint waite to see you all again

Hi! We are booked for this cruise!! We are Margaret, DW, Garry, DH, Adrienne, DD (21), Mike, DS (13), Matt, DS (11), and Megan, DD (10). We have adjoining rooms 8512 and 8514. We are from Media, PA which is about 10 miles west of Philadelphia, PA. We took a 7 night cruise on the Magic in 2006 which our kids thought and still think was 'the best vacation ever'!! We are excited about the double dip at CC. We'd love to be a part of the FE group, but don't have any prior experience - just let us know what we need to do - we're game:)):cool1::thumbsup2

Welcome fellow Pennsylvanian!
There are a few of us from the Philadelphia area! Glad to have you join us. Can't wait to get to know ya!

Hey Karen (domiii) - We're on this cruise too!

Will be me (40 at time of cruise - whoa), DW (40) DD (4).

Booked one of the inside virtual portroom cabins.
Looking forward to the Double-Dip!!

grim pirate:
Yeah!!!!!! We must meet up. Kayla is celebrating her 23rd b' day on the cruise. Can't wait to see the baby who will be 4!!!!! OMG.

Thread has been quiet lately. Hope everyone is doing well.

Those in the path of our second Nor'easter...be safe.

Hope you are doing OK down there in Philly. Up here in Catty, PA we are snowed under pretty good. DH spent most of the day digging out and is now in bed tuckered out.
Too bad it's next May instead of this one that our cruise is planned for. Have to get down to WDW this year, maybe August or September. Waiting for some good deals to come out.

We are heading to WDW and Vero Beach in May and will be on the Magic in October, so the wait isn't too bad for us.

I hope you get a good deal and can get down there.

Um, Chuck, when do you think you'll be moving your car???? :rolleyes1
I'm betting on spring! :thumbsup2
(What part of Philly was that pic taken? My sister's fiancee lives in South Philly and he won't be able to move his car until summertime!)

I'm in Bucks County and the snow is almost up to the top of my backyard fence! Thankfully I'm off until Monday but DH has a Surgery Center to run in Hamilton NJ and HAD to get there today. It took him HOURS last night to dig the car out from under the snow pile! Yikes.
Hope everyone in the storm's path is doing ok.

We live in East Falls near Manayunk. I am back to working in the office tomorrow, worked from home the last 2 days.

We used to live in South Philly so I feel for your sisters fiancee. It will be impossible if he lives on one of the side streets.

I feel bad for all the people who may have missed their cruise this past weekend due to the weather up here. I heard 60+ people missed an NCL ship. Hope they had insurance.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Wow, that's a lot of snow!! I've never seen that much at once and yes, we live in Denver.

We've been here for three years now and the kids have missed a grand total of one day of school due to weather.

We aren't too far from Bucks County! We got a good amount of snow but not nearly what philatiger got!!

I work at a Medical Center. I went in on Wednesday with a packed bag just in case I wouldn't be going home!! I stayed at my SIL (who also works at the medical center) that night. She walked into the living room and the dog had torn my skirt to shreads. I called my director immediately to let her know what had happened and I would be wearing jeans on Thursday!! The story it kept every one laughing yesterday.

Who ever heard the excuse the dog ate my skirt!! :rotfl:

DH and I work in Bucks County but live just outside Philly, in South Jersey.

There are piles of snow on my lawn that are almost as tall as I am :lmao:. We have a Mickey & Minnie bird bath in the back yard, that stands about 2.5 feet high. Now, all you can see are the red tips of Minnie's bow sticking out of the snow.

And now they're predicting another few inches on Monday. UGH!!

This has been one heck of a winter, and it's not over yet :scared:

We got about 20" here in Montgomery Co., PA. I love snow, but this winter has become crazy; the snowblower has worked overtime. Sure can't wait for spring to roll around. Unfortunately, we're not doing any Disney-related trips until this cruise.

Pooh...we cannot get in on this cruise! Nothing any lower than a 5, and we need to pay for my DMom and DMIL, so we need to keep it a little less expensive.

Had to book for next week instead. Hoping for a cancellation, though!:lovestruc

WooHoo add a few more to the list from Georgia (not Atlanta)...we live an hour south of the airport in Pine Mountain by lovely Callaway Gardens and our DS lives in Phenix City, AL while DD and DSIL live in IL.

We are booked as of 2 days ago (booked while on my first Disney cruise on the Magic). DH, DS and myself are in #6088 Cat04D - DD and DSIL are in a Cat 10 GTY virtual porthole. While booking the res agent was shocked to see an inside cabin available and I quickly told her to snatch it for us!

Would love to join in on the FE when the time gets closer! :yay:

This ship is going too sell out fast!! My BF and her kids just booked last week and got the last oceanview guarantee room. I had checked on the DCL website and found one oceanview room and told her too call and within 5 minutes someone had already grabbed it. So she is in a cat 8 guarantee which is great...She may end up with a balcony.:woohoo:

This is going to be fun!! I can not wait...It will be so worth the money I told her. I am just glad I booked myself and DD the first day.....

YIPPEEE!!! My very first cruise, EVER!!! Look forward to communicating with ya'll and hopefully meeting up onboard the Dream.

Mike (DS to OKraysLoveDisney)

Welcome aboard Mike...you will have a great time.

We booked right away too and I hadn't checked back again. On the DCL website the only category available now are balconies. It's amazing how fast Disney sells out.

With more and more families joining the roll call, I am wondering if we should start keeping a list in one of the posts. I am willing to do this unless someone else wants to.

Update: today when I called to pay the deposit I asked if there was a Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom w/balcony (wheelchair accessible for DS) and there was one open so we booked that!! We are on deck 11 #11000!!! Can't wait!! :yay:
