hi All,

I've been trying to clarify which nights are pirate, "Halloween", dress-up, etc, on our upcoming October 4-night cruise on the Dream.

I got the reply below from the onshore concierge:

Night 1
Pumpkin Tree – 7:30pm Stories in front of the tree

Night 2
Mousequerade Party – 4:45pm
Adult party – 10:30pm
Also Dress Up night – completely up to you if you wish to dress up for dinner. As going into the show and dinner that day, the characters and backgrounds for pictures will match the theming. If looking for more of a formal type of picture with the family, this is a better night to do this.

Night 3
Haunted Stories – 11:15pm
Also Pirate night, weather permitting we also set off fireworks.

Night 4
Pumpkin Tree festivities

Am I interpreting this correctly in that Night 2 will be the "Halloween" night with the parties, trick or treating around the ship, etc...but that's also the same as the optional "dress up night" where we can take photos around the ship before or after dinner with some of our nicer clothes on? Is it normal to have "Halloween" and "Dress Up" on the same night? Seems to be a lot of changing if we want the kids to do the party before dinner, and do some of the Halloween events after dinner.

I know this isn't a real "problem" - but just making sure I have it right. And Pirate night is night 3 where we can wear pirate themed clothing to dinner, the pirate party, fireworks, etc. I get that part.

Thanks.

On our 4 night Dream cruise, the original plan was Halloween on night 2 and Pirates on night 3. But they got switched (Pirates on night 2, Halloween on night 3) due to bad weather reports for the third night (not compatible with fireworks show).

Dress Up Optional night is usually night 2. Your choice as to how you want to dress that evening, but, as noted the kids Halloween stuff is in the late afternoon and the adult Halloween party is late at night. So, Halloween cosutumes/events for the kids in the daytime, dress up for dinner, and adult dress up after dinner/show for their Halloween party.

Thanks for the reply! We'll just schedule some "wardrobe changing times"! I'm sure we'll make it work.
