Disney Dream 4-night cruise Feb 19, 2012

She will swim I will observe and take photos even though I am challenged with a camera.

DS Alex will be swimming with the Dolphins also and we will be observing!

My husband is all packed. I picked up new shorts for DD yesterday after discovering that everything from last summer doesn't fit. I'll take care of myself during the week.

Why do we (Moms/Wives) always leave ourselves for last??? lol
I was almost done packing for DH & DS and then last week I realized I didnt even know what I was going to be wearing...
...BTW I started packing months ago...but it was all for them...lol...

Please count Sarai (13) and Tracey in for thr Vista Cafe. This is her first cruise want to make it memorable! So many people from Tri-State will make her feel welcomed.

Tracey...we're from the Tri-Stat area...NY. When will you be arriving at Cape Canaveral?
We will be checking in at the Radisson on the Port on Saturday Feb 18...so will a few of other families from this site. Robin will be staying near by but stopping at the Radisson to have a mini meet. Will you be near by?

We heard about the FE and even made our own, told the kids about it, but never knew you needed to sign up . I've already packed goodies and just came across the sign up when looking for how many people typically exchange.

Is there ANY way this first time cruise group can get signed up? I know this is last minute, but Even last minute "stuff" is fine. We are celebrating our girls birthdays and really want it special. We are Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, and 2 girls (6&8). We are rooms 9000 & 9007.

I think we should have some extras of at least some of the things we are bringing and would be happy to put something in you FE. We are also 1st timers with multi-generations. Only myself, DH, and kids (DD - 11, DS - 8) in 5550 are doing the FE. It was too complicated to explain to my parents or brother over the phone and we had only discovered the board a day or two before the list closed.

Hi! If you have Harry Potter fans in your family and haven't been to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter yet - you are in for a real treat. They did an amazing job with the theming in that park. The Forbidden Journey is intense but amazing! Enjoy your time at Universal

Another great surprise for the kids is getting something signed by the characters and then leaving it for them to see when they go to bed on the last night. We have had pillow cases, hats, vinylmations and ornaments signed on past cruises. You leave the items you'd like signed w/ guest services (max 2 items per cabin) tell them the types of characters you want to autograph it and then on your last night the items will be returned to your cabin. I always leave the items with candy as a thank you to the CMs who take care of the autographs. Wishing your girls a very happy birthday

we are heading to the comfort suites universal main gate on thursday and doing universal thurs, fri, sat. cannot wait to see Harry Potter!!

Actually we were supposed to take this cruise 8/28/11 but thanks to the hurricane NYC airports shut down cancelling our flight out on 8/27. So we once we finally got a flight to MCO we stayed at Universal for 3 days followed by 5 days at Disney's Boardwalk Inn. We made lemonade lol and now we are sailing with this group. you aren't the only one. it was 21 degrees here Sunday night, and the high today was 75! in weather like this, my sinuses go crazy. I am hoping to be back on a even keel byte time we leave Saturday.

This weekend can't come quick enough.. so many things are just going plain wrong! We're leaving either thursday night or friday morning.. if it were up to me, I'd be on the road NOW!

Jenn got hit in the face with a basketball today, and of course, her glasses broke, had to run to the eyeglass store. BUT living in a small town, it's a 30 minute drive each way... Just adding to my stress levels.... I need this vacation sooooo badly!

DH & I were sick Mon-Wed...went to the doctor's office on Tues feeling horrible, didnt realize it was Valentine's Day until a someone wished the receptionist a happy Valentine's...Now DS asthma is starting to act up...uuuggghhh
