Disney Dream- 3-10-2011 (3 night)

They do have fish on some floors and seahorses on others. I would like to do a FE also. if anyone is interested.

Welcome aboard! Unless someone else has organized a fish exchange, I am willing to do it. Just keep in mind that I am a newbie, and would appreciate any suggestions. I just need you to send a personal message to me with your cabin number, first names of the people in your cabin and their ages. I will keep a master list and send it out to anyone interested in participating.
I am not able to send just you a message but I am interested in the FE. We have 3 kids age 3 and under.

We're not eating at Remys. It is just too much $$$$ for dinner. That $$$$ could be the deposit for our next cruise.

I really want to see the Palace. I heard that the Princesses do a meet & greet during dinner.

I hadn't heard that. But that will be fun if they do a Princesses meet and greet. Now I wonder if I should cancel the one I have after the cruise. I reserved dinner at Norway in Epcot. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Vicki

Sorry but we are back to GTY status. I'll let you know as soon as we do.

Thanks for letting us know. I will make the change. I am curious, did you ask for a change or did Disney just change you again? And is this typical? I am trying to understand this GTY stuff.

anyone particpating in any fish extender exchanges?

Dear Dreamaddict,

We are doing a FE. Unfortunately, we made a cut off date and closed the FE on Feb 1 so that people would be able to plan for the FE.

We are in the planning stages of coming up with a meeting place for everyone who is on this board. Nick is spear heading it. I do not believe that the place has been decided yet. We would love for you to come and meet everyone. We are using the Alien Green- Mickey Mouse Head- paint samples from home depot as a group identifier. If you don't have a home depot close to you, give a shout out, for some of us have picked up extras.

We paid for an upgrade to a verandah since it wasn't much more $$$. But we haven't been assigned a stateroom number yet.

Hey everyone! Our cruise is quickly approaching!! :woohoo:
Nick (DH), and I were wondering what everyone's dinner seating time is. We were thinking that we might want to see if we can request table mates for during dinner. (Does anyone know if this is possible?) We thought that it might make table conversation more comfortable, since we all have the DIS in common. This would also be a really great way for us to be able to connect and get to know each other better and stay in contact while on our cruise! :)
The last cruise we went on (back in November) the conversation lagged, felt very forced and not very comfortable.:scared1:

We are currently in the later seating. But we might be able to switch to the earlier one if needed. Please let us know if this is something you guys would be interested in. :cool1:

I'm late on the question of the week, but I'm looking forward to Palo. We have been on two cruises, but this will be our first time at Palo.

We are on the late dinner seating. I was nervous about that with the girls that it was too late, but on vacation, our schedules are just thrown out the window and there is food available whenever we're hungry. For three nights, we can manage anything!

I hadn't heard anything about the princesses coming around during dinner. I would keep my Norway dinner (I have one too!! Wednesday the 16th) because then you know for sure that you will get some time with and pictures with the princesses.

Guess what??? February is half over!!! It's going to be closer to March than January soon!! :yay:

Thanks for putting this question out there. We are on the early dinner with the 9:00 show. Anyone else on the first dinner?

We have main dining with the 9:00 show, too!

We had the later dining on our first 2 Disney cruises (DD was 6 and 8) and were worried, too. But as you said, schedules are all over the place, so we actually quite liked it! It was nice to see the show first, then get ready for dinner. Enjoy!

And maybe we'll see you at WDW after the cruise - we'll be there until the 22nd! :cool1:

Hi! We're going to be doing late dining, so you're more than welcome to link your dining ressie to ours if you'd like. The only thing is that my 6 year old dd will be there. Other than that, it's two singles. Me, Michelle, and I'm 37 and my dd's godfather, Jason, and he's 39. This is my fourth Disney cruise and Jason and Emily's third. We always love meeting new people! Just let us know :goodvibes

You will need to have Disney or your travel agent link your room reservation numbers. You can send Cordelia.Turpchinoff a PM with your reservation number. Disney will then put you together at one large table or multiple tables close to each other in the dining room.

You will need to have the same dining time for this to work. Since Cordelia is late everyone who wants to link with her needs to have late dining reservations.

You will need to coordinate this soon, it will be harder for your request to be granted if you wait since dining rotations are set weeks before the sail date.

We have the late dining also if anyone's interested. It's myself, Rhonda (39), my husband Rick that's (40) and our dear son that's (13).

I noticed that Annette(acourtwdw) hasn't updated you on our room assignment. We received our assignment yesterday it is 5184. It is in the very back of the ship on the port side.

If you would like you can join us along with momtobrooke.... just let me know so we can call and add you to our reservation if its not too late.

I am so sorry that I didn't think of this idea sooner.... but hopefully Disney will be able to accommodate our request, they are usually pretty flexible about things, when they can.
