Disney Dream- 3-10-2011 (3 night)

Its official, Disney upgraded us. Our new cabin number is 6014. They say the documents are in the mail.

:yay: We got upgraded on our last cruise, which was great since it was the bounceback offer and was cheap to begin with!!

We got our docs/luggage tags in the mail on Saturday. Getting SO excited!!! I can't wait to see the look on the girls' faces when we pull into the port!

We received our cruise docs last Friday! :cool1:

We have also changed our cabin to 9514. Sorry to our FE Group for all the confusion! :confused3

Hi! Just wanted to let everyone know that I have updated Jump4joy's cabin number on the main list (page 5, post 74)

I just have to ask this. I have not gotten my docs yet and the suspense is killing me. Do they give us cool luggage keepsake tags like you get when you go to the parks? Like something special just for the ship?

No, just luggage sticker tags similar to Magical Express ones.

I was looking over some navigators and I am confused with the last breakfast. It shows a 1st and 2nd seating. Is this the same seating as what you have for your dinner?

Yes if you have 1st seating dinner than you have an earlier breakfast. We usuallly just go to the buffet for the last morning bfast. We find that the food served in the regular dining rooms on the last morning isn't very good.

We're not eating at Remys. It is just too much $$$$ for dinner. That $$$$ could be the deposit for our next cruise.

I really want to see the Palace. I heard that the Princesses do a meet & greet during dinner.

We're looking forward to Palo as we've always enjoyed a very nice meal there.

I'm afraid Remy's type of food is just not our thing. Personally, we would never pay $75pp even if it was! For those of you going, I'm sure it'll be delicious and a special evening for you.

Enjoy.

Sorry but we are back to GTY status. I'll let you know as soon as we do.

I'm sorry, but I am acronym-challenged. I've held back too long and now I have to ask... Can someone tell me what GTY means?

Thanks,

Mike.

GTY means DCL guarantees you a stateroom at that catagory or above. for example, an 11GTY guarantees you to at least have a Cat 11 but you could be upgraded if they sell more cat11s then they have. The GTY costs is less than it would be if you purchased a cat11 yourself. It is always best to be sure you would be happy with the cat you have and not expect an upgrade. Some people get sprinkled with pixy dust and some don't.:)

Hey All- I was trying to book an excursion today and noticed that Remy and Palo reservations were open for everyday of the cruise.

I have a Remy ressie for day 1, if they are no longer ressies available.
