What a fun night at the Pop! And tell Anakin that I still can't do the Hustle right.

his orthodics are lifts that can be inserted in his shoes. They are made especially for him with a good amount of arch support and one lift is built up higher than the other because one of Luke's legs is longer than the other. Luke has chronic hip pain and these are helping him a great deal.

I'm sorry Luke has chronic pain, glad they are helping him!

I was very happy to see a Mickey Monitor in my mail box this afternoon!

Jabba's Hut tent for merchandise will be located behind Rock n Roller Coaster. There are a couple passholder exclusives, a t-shirt and a spinner pin.

June 3, 4, and 5 Passholders can pick up a complementary SSW lanyard! Too bad Grumpy will be out of town then.

Kindergarten graduation was the other day!

We are at day 11 of our countdown!! Anakin is so excited to stay at Pop Century. I sure hope the Goofy fountain is open during this stay. Several times the kiddie pool and the Goofy fountain were closed during out stay.

Today I had hoped to go to Universal Studios, but they are calling for storms later today. Anakin is a huge Big Time Rush fan and I thought it would be fun to take him to that stuff today and end the day with the concert at 7 watching BTR.

Last night we had a thunderstorm and he was very scared between the lightening flashing and the thunder crashing. I guess he is going to have to get use to the daily thunderstorms again once we get back into rainy season.

The other cool thing in the area was brought to my attention by smileycrissy. Mater and McQueen, along with a new car star from Cars 2 will be at DTD near AMC theaters to promote the new movie. He was so happy and proud. The morning of graduation we had to hand in a couple answers to questions they gave us to ask the children. When I asked Anakin what he wants to be when he grows up, he said a dentist, a farmer, a lego builder, and a pharmacist. There are too many options out there to just pick one. If only Grumpy had some idea of what he wants to do when he graduates next year!

sorry tohear he is having issues with the thunderstorms....when my nephew was little (he has Aspergers, now 15) he would wear the big earphones (like the kind you would use at the races) to bed at night since he was very sensitive to any noise, especially if he didn't know where it was coming from...the last couple of years though he doesn't wear them anymore, he seems to be working through his issues better as he get's older!

Hope you can get to DTD today, we are very excited for Cars2 also!! we love POP, hope all the water features are open up for Anakin to enjoy!

Congrats to Anakin. He looks like such a proud happy boy. I love his what I want to be when I grow up ideas. They are great. I can understand about Grumpy. Kara had goals but decided to throw most of them away. I am still a bit irritated as she scored a 31 on her ACT but has no plans at this time for college. She thinks she can make it on pure talent alone (she wants to be a fashion designer) It can be hard when we want so much for our kids and they dont seem to know what they want or if they do it isnt what we hoped for them but I figure it will all work out eventually. Give him time, he might just surprise you yet!

So nice to hear it's gotten better as he got older! I know things are better now, then they were last summer. Last summer was the peak of overload for all of us as everything began so suddenly.

We have a Conair sound machine with clock radio. It has 9 different soothing sounds. We weren't sure how this was going to work, because we were told it might help or it could cause seizures. Thankfully it worked! He likes the rainfall sound to fall asleep to.

Did you have a preferred room at Pop? What is the one thing you think we should make sure to do at the resort?

Wow!! A 31!!! Congrats to Kara! If Grumpy could score that he could go to a state school for free!! He got the score for 70% off!

I told him to pick something that has decent job availability, where he would love to go to work every day. It's much nicer to go to a job you love than one you dread. He is very interested in fish, so maybe marine biology or something to do with the environment will draw him in?

It's raining, it's pouring. Guess it's good we stayed home. Now we have some extra time on our hands and I was trying to think of something fun for Anakin to do. He is helping to pick out designs of tipping envelopes.

When we stayed at CSR, I don't thing the mousekeeper knew what to do about the tipping envelopes. The first day the mousekeeper took it, but left it there the 2nd day? Anakin loves getting things ready for vacation. He is a great helper. He loves lists, and maybe one day he will get me organized!?

That is great that he is so organized. I wish I could get organized. I am so behind. We leave in 9 days and I have yet to get much done. I am still planning. I havent even bought the stuff for mousekeeping envelopes or autograph books. I think I need someone to give me a swift kick in the butt.

For the mousekeeping envelopes you can print them out online, just need an envelop. We picked out a pirate and a Tink one today.

Anakin rarely brings an autograph book. He has already figured out there is more time to interact with the characters if he doesn't give them something to sign. Sometimes I sneak his autograph book into my back pack so it's with us if he changes his mind after seeing so many get autographs.

He has his toys packed. He would like me to get his things packed. I have Grumpy's carry-on bag packed and that's as far as I got. Which is good for me! Usually I am scrambling around the night before getting everything packed.

In December, I could have left everything at home and not bothered packing at all. Murphy's Law plagued us the whole time and we ended up having to come back home, it was crazy. I guess that series of unfortunate events, made our perfect vacation at CSR seem soooo much better!! It was definately one of the best Disney vacations we ever had!

we did have a preferred room, had room 4411 on the corner of the bldg overlooking the pool, took all of 3 minutes to get to the bus and food court, even with the stairs was a great location!

I have only ever seen the hustle at 6. I am looking forward to finding these other gems!! Did you see these others during your stay? Did Megan participate in any of it?

No we never did any of the extras, were never around during the scheduled times, except our rain day, but she didn't want to do them for some weird reason, tired I guess
we actually didn't even walk around the resort this time, since we did that a lot the last trip.
when you check in, ask for the schedule so you don't miss out on what you want to do!
