Um, well the AG clothes are on the back burner - honestly, I haven't made an AG outfit since I started doing the Ultimate Park Bags... I am now booked solid with custom orders until August - it's really insane - but I love it!

I did start a TR - I can't believe I didn't tell you - you must go check it out. I am not anywhere near our DTD day together, but I have days 1 & 2 done. The link is in my siggy.

I am sorry that the behavior issues have started now. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a connection with the seizures.


That card game looks so fun. I can see where it could capture a persons imagination. Especially kids.

He and Christian had a blast!



Unfortunately last night he had seizures off and on. We got very little sleep. When he wasn't having seizures he was seeking out deep pressure and kept burrying his face into his pillow. It took BOTH dh and I to turn him to his side as he was like dead weight, totally oblivious to anything going on around him. I called the specialist he is suppose to see. They put him on a wait list, but she wasn't very hopeful of an opening before his scheduled appointment.

Today his algae feeder died. He is sad beyond measure, but has finally stopped crying.

I think the seizures heighten the emotions. They also affected his memory again. He called a cylinder a jewel and couldn't remember the name of the letter "o", but could remember the short sound it made. His has been doing double digit addition and carrying over. He had to use his fingers for each step of the way as he couldn't remember ANY of the simple math addition facts.

Yes, that's what it is.

You know the stages of grief. This child of mine seems to be experiencing all of them at the same time. He goes from gut wrenching crying to fist pounding anger to peace and calmness.

I am trying to think of things to do with him to get his mind off the fish, but the only other thing he is thinking about is Clone Wars tonight. He won't leave the tv room for fear he will miss Ninjago and Clone Wars. I guess I better check the tv guide to make sure they are both on!

For the moment I have a very happy boy who is entertaining himself. Going to try to sneak an update in here.

We went shopping at DTD towards the end of February or the beginning of March. If you remember back around Christmas time, I had asked for a Harvey messenger bag as a Christmas present. That didn’t happen though. They cost a fortune so I certainly understand.
While looking for a birthday present for my mom, I found a “consulation” hand bag for me. It was a Minnie bag, similar in color to the Harvey bag. It’s the bags on the top, the red with black dots and handles. These bags are very affordable at $29.95.

Anakin found a new Buzz Lightyear flying toy that is all the rage at Disney. We saw the toy being demonstrated at Once Upon a Toy before we went to eat at EoS. When we came out, the demonstration was done. We went inside the store to look for it. Didn’t see it, so we started asking cm. We were sent on a wild goose chase from cm to cm. Nobody seemed to know where they were. The very last cm we asked said that he didn’t know where they were kept, but he did know where the cm was who was doing the demonstrations. He brought us over to him and inquired for us. Apparently his demonstrations were stopped because Buzz had sold out. He gave us a little square piece of paper with a number to call to find out where an item can be located on property.
We decided to check out the WoD store. They had them!! These toys are very delicate and made of a styrofoam type material. It’s battery operated. His broke the first day of use, and it still works broken. The concept is very cool. But it’s priced too high for a toy that is so delicate to handle.

I stopped at TrenD to window shop my Harvey bags.

We headed to the MK after shopping mostly to play Sorcerers, but also as part of Anakin’s history lesson. He had been studying about the Great Seal and the Liberty Bell. He really enjoyed learning about it and looking at the pictures in his history book. We decided to stop by the Hall of Presidents to see the Great Seal in the carpet there, and to check out the Liberty Bell replica at Liberty Square. He thought it was so cool to see the pages of history jump out at Disney. I think he’d really like to check out Philadelphia and Washington D.C some year for vacation!

This was around the time that baseball started for Anakin. Here he is at his first game with his buddy running to first with him.

The 2nd game I wasn’t able to get as close to the plate as the first.

I so want one of those Harvey bags myself but I just cannot justify the expense. Of course this is from the woman who bought herself a Nook tablet last week. But I really wanted it and I was tired of Scotty always grabbing my regular one because he had broken his. So I let him have the regular one I got for Christmas and got the tablet. When I saw that display you showed of the other purses and I was put in mind of the Harvey ones right away.


I love the baseball pictures. It's too bad he can't play right now. I hope that they find a way to help the poor guy.

They have some really incredible, new merchandise. I took pics of all the new stuff, but didn't download it to photobucket. Don't want to exceed my max monthly amount.

I like my rosetta too for the parks, well you can carry it around town for a bit of a disney fix

There's plenty that needs done at home anyway.

Grumpy just came out to me and said his professor just posted grades on the paper that was due today. He got an A!!

Speaking of an A, we found out that through the private school that he does his homeschooling through, he is the class valadictorian. We were told he has to write a speech to deliver at graduation. Then they socked it to us that graduation will be $300?!

Being the thrift shopper I can be, I showed the school where they can get cap/gown/tassle for $21.95 per student. Diploma fee is $50. They are renting a church for the ceremony and reception afterwards, so I can't imagine how they can come up with $300/student. Hopefully that price will be cut in third!! And hopefully Goofy will be given the day off to go. As of tonight he was told they won't find coverage for him, but if he can find someone to cover then it's fine. Not because they are being unreasonable, but because all vacation slots allowed for that date were already filled.

that does seem like a look for the graduation....how many kids are there? maybe you could so a little investigation on the other costs!

I was about to comment on your post last night when dh needed the computer. Sorry it's taking me so long to get back to you.

This appointment next week can't come soon enough! After the rough night, I called the new neuro. Their office said that we should get a prescription for diastat from the neuro or his ped. Both refused saying that if he needs emergency meds he should go to ER. The new neuro's office couldn't believe this. So it sounds like once we start there he will be getting emergency meds to keep on hand. Obviously they couldn't write for it without seeing him at the new office. As I mentioned above he was placed on a wait list. He is 2nd on the list.

Last night I saw Lion King was on one of the channels. I asked him if he wanted to watch it. He refused saying he hates the circle of life. Both Grumpy and Goofy offered to get him a new fish to replace this one. It upset him that's they'd suggest such a thing. "A life can't be replaced," he said.

I had to explain to him that we understand each fish is unique. That they didn't really mean it would replace his fish, but more that they were asking if he wanted a new fish that could use the other fish's tank. Oh this black and white thinking gets complicated at times!!

Last night we had a mostly seizure free sleep. There were a couple seizures but they only lasted a few seconds each. This morning he had some myoclonic twitching. I was able to catch it on video on my phone. So I'll be able to show the hand twitches and facial tics to the epileptologist this week! In the past, I was never able to capture it and tried to explain it verbally.

The day before my birthday, I had hinted once again to Goofy what a great gift a Harveys bag would make. He gave in! D helped me pick it out!
