Disney Dollar's

I just found out my only niece on my husband's side of the family is going with her other grandparents, uncle & aunt and her parents to WDW in May. Ya for me, know I know what to get my 5 yr old for christmas,
Disney Dollar's. I think I am going to get my sil and her husband Disney Dollar's too.
Can anyone tell me what they all can be used for. I think their room is paid for, but can you use them at counter meals, or sit down meals. I know you can use them in gift shops.

They can be used instead of US money anywhere at WDW.

Disney Dollars can be used everywhere for everything in WDW. Whether it's merchandise, food, or to settle your room account. We love them and accumulate them from the time we book our trip until take off!

They are good throughout the parks and Downtown Disney.

Save the receipt though, on the off chance that they have Disney dollars left over. You can redeem them for cashola with the receipt (where you bought them.)

My SIL would totally do that. She would want the receipt to just get the cash. But I thought what the heck-I'll get them anyway. Her husband will appreciate them, he will be glad to know that they can use them for anything.

I could tell them all the secrets of WDW, about the DIs boards but I would be wasting my time-they would just ignore me-they will probably look at me like that when they get the Disney dollars.
