Disney dish ware at Target

I got some Mickey head bowls and realized I wanted more and some of the hands appetizer plates, but alas . . .. no more. I bought mine 3 weeks ago and they sold out the same week. I haven't seen any more since then. :sad2:

I saw those the other day at Target. The glasses with vintage Mickey on them were stacked together and the paint on the outside was scratching off badly. And I don't think it was a "vintage" look because the scratches were not in the same places.

So I got ALL my water bottles today at Target!!! They are sooo cute! 3 Mickey w/ black and clear plastic, 2 Tinks, and 2 multi colored vintage look Mickey and Minnie. We went to two differing Targets if that helps anyone! Course we live in a Tri State area, and there are easily 4 Targets w/in my reach! I even saw a Mickey hand as an appetizer plate today!!! So cute!
So if any of you are looking anymore, don't forget to try online or another Target! We can't wait to surprise our family for our 1st ever cruise!!

Hope everyone finds them!

Celebrating our 1st Magic Cruise in Oct.!!!

:yay::yay::yay:

FYI: Target does have them online...googled Disney Melamine Dinnerware or Disney water bottles....:banana::banana:

Good luck everyone!

One can take a chance and place these melamine products in the dishwasher's bottom rack. However, according to the manufacturer, top rack only is recommended. And to hand wash, is their best recommendation. As that is to prolong the life of these products.

Thanks for the info Gisele...I only bought the water bottles for our upcoming trip. I guess ppl know that hand washing really is the best, though I'm not sure I'd buy the whole set. Albeit, those white hand appetizer plates today that I saw were so stinkin' cute!!!

We're trying to be 'wise' with this upcoming cruise, so sullins5 has to only buy the water bottles...but boy could they put you in a 'Disney fix'!!!:goodvibes

The ones I saw were scratched really bad as well...so I didn't get them. I still have my Tupperware color change Mickey glasses anyway so I really don't need another set!

I thought they were scratched really badly too and almost didn't buy them. I looked closer and realized that all the scratches were in the same spots so they're supposed to be that way.

Yep!!! Our water bottles looked the same. Gold 'vintage'...dd and I compared all 3 before we bought them, the scratches & looks were exactly the same! Even the comic strip part of it looked faded in the same parts on each bottle. I really didn't care on the water bottles though, after our cruise, we'll use them around the house alot!

We actually bought 4 cups and the big chip/dip mickey bowl back in August (the first time they had it...which it sold out QUICK!). When I saw the new stuff this month, I picked up a Tink cup and 3 of the Comic Book-looking Mickey/Minnie cups. :) I LOVE them...and $3 a cup isn't bad...considering they are Disney. (Heck, the plastic cups I am replacing were $3 a cup from Target when I originally bought them.)

The only piece I'm not sure of being a good price...I saw a smaller version of the chip/dip bowl at another Target the other day...but if I remember correctly, it was like $7.99. Not a great deal since the large bowl is $9.99.

Anywho!

Any sightings lately? TIA

I saw the disney dishware at a clearance endcap in my store. I was in a hurry (and trying not to spend money!) so I didn't stop to check it out, but they had quite a bit of it, all different things/designs.

Thank you for the update. I wonder what the sitch is in my neck of the woods? I need to buy tp, so I will go to my most favorite store to do so,like I normally do.....being Target of course. :)

I was in my Target last Saturday (Feb. 5) and they were all gone.

I never even saw them go on Clearance. I checked with two employees who said, "all gone".

:thumbsup2 We still had some at our Memphis area Targets. Still on the endcaps and not clearanced. However, the only waterbottles left were Cruelladeville. They had the black/white plates, bowls, white hands, and a whole lot more. Guess they're not on the 'hot' list for our area.
But I'm glad I grabbed the 7 waterbottles we wanted, because I haven't seen any of those except Cruella's.

We still have a mostly full endcap here in Milwaukee. They are facing the towels (that is, not facing the main, wide aisle) so they are kind of out of the way.

I eat cereal in my black & white Mickey bowl almost everyday and my DD loves to point out Mickey on my bowl! I've put them through the top rack on the dishwasher with no problems, although several times when unloading one of those "artful scratches" catches my eye and I have to examine it to make sure it isn't a real scratch! :)

Still a ton at my Target! (Photo taken yesterday) I'm so tempted to go back and buy them all. I only bought the purple Ursula cup.. for now... ;)

At our Target - on all of the plastic black and white Mickey glasses - the pictures were half scraped off - kwim? they looked like they were supposed to be "distressed" but then they just looked bad! Did anybody else run into this?

Went yesterday got 2 of every plate for 1.48 each on clearance 2 of every bowl for 1.25 clearance the the 4 pack hand plates for 3.90 and the last mickey head bowls large was 4.98 and small was 3.48. They had the water bottles and villain cups but we don't use cups and the bottles aren't the kind with the straws...only thing they didn't have was the small black and white plates...
