Disney discounted room only offer on UK-Expedia; ended 31 March.

I've never had to pay anything above the US Expedia price before when I've used them for other trips, I guess we'll see about the tax with this site. For us at least even with the that additional tax it's still less than any trip I've priced out before for the same hotel/number of nights.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

I got mine when it changed to confirmed. You can email them or try messaging them on Facebook, either way make sure to give them the itinerary number. I asked a question by messaging them on Facebook & they had the Customer Service team from the Expedia UK site email me within an hour.

Thanks I will try that.

For those who recently commented on and are now concerned that they might be asked to pay an additional 12.5% tax at check-in.

As lauti states in thread #540 you won't and check out thread #476 by AmyAnne who has recently stayed at WDW using the UK-Expedia rates, there was no mention of being ask to pay more. So if there's any other Dis'er out there who've completed a WDW stay with this offer can you please post your experience, many thanks.......:thumbsup2

As previously mentioned, this offer could change soon as it's similar to an UK-Disney offer which is stated to end 3rd March.

And here's another example for 7-nights over Thanksgiving week checking in on 22nd Saturday at the All-Star Music in a Family Suite (Max Occupancy: 6 adults) for £864.08, $1,449.

Disney's rack rate for those 7-nights $2,436.

So a saving of $987 or 40% at a budget resort over Thanksgiving.

Thank you so much! I missed AmyAnne's post somehow...no more worries. :)

I can't seem to find rates that go into 2015. I'm traveling at the very end of the 2014.

Yes, the last night you can book at the moment is 31st Dec and the savings aren't so good when compared to the first week of December. We posted the following in thread #350 which we've copied below.

'Sorry, but at the moment you can only book WDW resorts up until check-out on 1st January 2015 on UK-Expedia, but WDW-UK released 2015 dates a little while ago so we Brit's can now make bookings up until December 31st 2015.

And possibly one of the best discounts for a stay over the last few weeks of this year on UK-Expedia can be found at one of the All Star's resorts in a standard room for £90.30 ($151) per night against a rack rate of $198 so only a saving of 23.5%'..........

Just a quick update - I check in 2 weeks from today for my "trial run" March visit using the UK site with the early February 10% discount. I received my Magic Bands over 2 weeks ago and have had all of my FP+ ressies set for over 3 weeks. I already have a 14-night October/November stay booked and, as we usually drive up the day before our stay, I booked a night at ASSports for $79.86 for the night before that trip starts. Looking forward to someone who has actually checked in but I don't anticipate any problems. I'll update after I check-in on 3/15 but look forward to hearing others experiences as well!:cool1:

How long has it taken for your reservation to go from 'booked' to 'confirmed' on the website?

Disney's Rack rate, $1,132.
US-Expedia: $1,022
Disney's Spring Vacation offer: $908 so 20% off rack rate.
Passholder rate $851.80 so saving 25%.
But with UK-Expedia the cost is $713, (£425.32) so saving 37% on the full rack rate.

Family-suit for up to 6-adults at the Art of Animation Resort checking in Sat 15th March for 7-nights. (Cars, Nemo or Lion King)
Disney's Rack rate, $3,099.
US-Expedia: $2,963.82
Passholder rate $ 2,479 so saving 20%.
And with UK-Expedia the cost is $2,244, (£1,338.82) so saving 27% on the full rack rate.

Animal Kingdom Lodge Savannah View for 2 adults and 2 children checking in Sat 15th March for 7-nights.
Disney's Rack rate, $4,109.
US-Expedia: $3,701.74

Believe Art of Animation and Animal Kingdom Lodge's savannah view rooms are not included in Disney's own Spring Vacation offer?

The one I made last night hasn't changed yet, but my other 3 (cancelled and rebooked one with the Feb. discount) each changed within 3-4 days. My Disney confirmation numbers all showed up and I was able to link them in MDE with no problems.

I booked on Tuesday by Wednesday it went from booked to confirmed but I am still waiting for my Disney reservation number. I sent an email and Facebook message with no response.
Does the number come via email? Or does it change on the itineraries page? Thanks.

Same thing happened to me. I ended up calling Disney and was connected to their tech line and within a couple minutes I had both of our reservation numbers. Immediately after receiving them, I set up MDE and had ordered my magic bands.

Days later I heard from Expedia UK apologizing very much for the delay and they gave me the same numbers I had already received from Disney.

Hope this helps!

Mine were put on the itinerary pages a couple of days after they changed to confirmed. But this was over a month ago and people only seem to be having problems with it more recently.

Thanks. I just received a strange e- mail from expedia uk stating that Disney wouldn't give them the reservation number until 10 days before check in.

My check in is April 4, for one night only at pop, and then we are switching to BC for a week for our real vacation- got that confirmation with no problem and have it in MDE, or else I would be freaking out! It still seems odd though...

I contacted Disney and was told they cannot give me the reservation number because I booked through Expedia. They told me to call Expedia, I messaged them on facebook and sent an email with no response. That was 2 days ago. AGH! Luckily we have lots of time since we don't go until October.

When you called Disney, did you ask to be connected with their Tech department? After I reached them, they found my reservation numbers right away. The regular CM's couldn't help me at all.

Even tech support couldn't find my confirmation number. It's a little unsettling, but it is only one night, and I can always cancel if I don't get it straightened out in a couple of weeks. Ugh!
