Anyone here bought disney tickets here off the dis site at the discount rate? They can either be shipped or on a "will call" at a resort or parks. Anyone picked them up at the "will call" and any problems with that? I still can't believe for only 4 dollars more for a child pass, you can get a 7 day pass instead of a 5 day!! MORE DISNEY DAYS YEAH!!!! :woohoo:

Where did you find these tickets and prices? I have been searching and cannot find this deal at all. Thanks for your help!

I haven't purchased from the Disney website in the past. Their prices are higher than the online ticketbrokers. The savings varies depending on the ticket types but I've saved anywhere from a few dollars to $60+ per ticket off of the gate price. I would only recommend the Disney website if you only need 1- or 2-day passes.

BTW, UndercoverTourist is offering 4-day passes with 2 free extra days (6 days total!)

If you go to the disboards home, not these forums, that is where I found the discount tickets. Undercover tourist? But those would need sent to me right? I am leaving in 2 weeks, that is why I was looking for something "will call".

Okay, I understand. The ticket company that sponsors the DIS is the one on the home page. That would be The Official Ticket Center . Is this the one that you're talking about? If so, I don't think that you can pick them up at Disney's "will call". You would need to pick them up at OTC's office in Kissimmee or have them delivered to your hotel.

If you plan to pick up your tickets in Orlando, just about any ticketbroker has a B&M office where you can pick up your passes that you've ordered ahead of time. And if you can't pick them up, there's also a hotel-delivery option for all of them for a small fee.

no, the ones I'm talking about are from dreams unlimited travel. They have a will call, and with all the extras, is actually cheaper than the other. Check it out. It's in the same place on the home page.

Advance Purchase Walt Disney World Tickets
Disney World offers a discount if you purchase your Disney tickets in advance. This can be done through Disney directly, or through your travel agent. Dreams Unlimited Travel offers these Disney tickets to you on-line. Savings can range from $18 per adult and from $12 per child. Purchase Disney tickets

Gotcha! It took a little bit of digging but I found it! You learn something new everyday...I didn't even know that Dreams Unlimited offered a ticket service. Some of their prices are as good as the newsletter prices that the other ticketbrokers, some are not quite as good. The will call feature is a nice bonus that the others don't have.

To answer your original question, no I haven't used DU for tickets. But I have used them for both room-only ressies and cruises. They've been awesome for those. I'd be interested to get input from others.

For anyone interested in the DU ticket page, you can check it out here:

well, i guess if it is sponsered by this site and you had a good experience with the other things then I shouldn't be worried. :thumbsup2 I will let you know how it goes!!

I have bought tickets from Ticketmania several times and had them delivered to the hotel. It works out great. They also make copies of the back for you in case you lose them. This time I got a phone card as a gift as well.

Hi aka-mad4themouse,

It is confusing!

Some of their prices are as good as the newsletter prices that the other ticketbrokers, some are not quite as good.

It took me a several mintues to figure out that they do not include tax until you ADD a ticket to the cart.

"(Tax not included) Adult"

is displayed above the # of tickets in the cart.

It only changes to tax included when you select the number of tickets such as adult in the drop down box, then the cart shows the price with tax, so their prices look 6.5% cheaper than they really are. That can add from $10-29 per ticket to the real price!

Undercover Tourist

Yes, but the quoted price has the tax included. The base price is without tax. How much is a 7 day with all the bells and whistles elsewhere?

We are not sure which tickets you are referring to, but you did mention the 7 day; so they are more expensive per ticket than Undercover Tourist:

A 7 day adult ticket with all the bells and whistles is: $29.59 more expensive for a ticket than at Undercover Tourist; so 2 adults would save $59.18 at Undercover Tourist.

Other tickets:

$13 more for an adult 7 day base.

$19 more for an adult 7 day hopper.

$7 more for an adult 7 day hopper + water park

$25 more for an adult 7 day base - no expire

We don't believe they are cheaper than us on any ticket.

We won't post again on this thread,; we simply wished to address that when you add tax to their prices they are are clearly not the same price as Undercover Tourist for any ticket combination.

Thank you

Undercover Tourist

Use Undercovertourist if possible. You won't be disappointed!! :thumbsup2

Comparing ticket prices between WDW website and UnderCoverTourist, there's a $48.18 savings on two adult 10day, no expiry ~ in favor of UCT!

I know someone who always orders from Undercovertourist and they have always been very satisfied. I have always used Disney, but on my next trip will be using them. Which brings up another question.

If I purchase tickets from some place other than Disney and get on ground reservations from AAA do I still get the magic bonus hours? The reason I ask is in the past my room key was also our tickets. Will my room key be enough to get the after hours bracelet and how would the early admission work? Has anyone done what I propose and what were results?

I've never had a problem getting into EMHs with my tickets. I stay onsite but usually get a 10-day no-expiry hopper from one of the ticketbrokers to use over several trips. Showing my room key is all the CM needs to let us in for the early EMHs. For evening EMHs, you just hand the CM your room keys to get your bracelets.
