Disney Dining Reviews with lots of Pics! 1/7-1/13 COMPLETED 3/2

I'm happy everyone is enjoying the reviews so far :)

Our next dinner was at Cinderella's Royal Table. We originally hadn't planned on eating here because I had heard very mixed reviews but I hadn't eaten in the castle since I was a little girl so I decided to make us a reservation, and I'm so happy I did because we loved it!

When we arrived we were directed to the line for pictures with Cinderella. I heard reviews where people have said their Cindy was less than friendly to adults, but ours was so sweet! After we got our pictures taken, I was given a magic wand and DBF was given a sword, which we were very excited about because I didn't think they gave them out to adults and who doesn't want a magic wand :wizard:

We were seated at a table for two by the window. Here are a couple pictures of the view from our table:

Chef Jody came over right away to speak with me about my allergy. He was the nicest and most accomodating chef I met that week. Our waiter was very nice as well. It was his first night working but he did a great job.

He brought us some delicious pretzel bread with honey mustard butter and regular butter:

DBF loved the honey mustard butter, I didn't care for it.

For our appetizer, we both ordered the Castle Salad with no walnuts:

It was great! It had lots of blue cheese and fresh raspberries.

DBF ordered the Pan Seared Salmon with grain pilaf, grilled asparagus and glazed with rosemary-lemon honey:

He liked it a lot, salmon is one of his favorite things to eat.

I ordered the Lemon Lavender Chicken on mashed potatoes with wilted spinach and a chicken jus:

I wasn't going to order chicken since I had chicken at Cosmic Ray's for lunch that day, but I decided to order it anyway and I'm happy I did. The chicken was really good. It had a lot of lemon flavor.

While we were eating, Suzy and Perla came around to all the tables for pictures, which was another great surprise because I've heard reviews where people said they didn't stop at the tables.

Here is a picture of the Fairy Godmother while she was walking around announcing special occaisions, etc.

And here is a picture of the inside of the restaurant:

Next, we ordered our desserts. DBF ordered the Royal Crown Sundae:

And I ordered the Raspberry Sorbet:

Neither of them were really anything special, but we were both too full to eat anything heavier.

We both really enjoyed it here, and are planning on returning next time! If you are a couple without kids and are skeptical about going here, go for it! We had a great time. :)

Hi

I am glad you liked CRT we are eating there for the first time and I am so excited about it!

Wow, I would love a magic wand! That ice cream looks really good too, I am becoming more and more convinced about giving CRT a try.

Laur's princess:

CRT looks great - I love the sound of that lemon chicken :thumbsup2

Since our Cindy's reservation was so early, when we got back to the hotel at night I was hungry again so we stopped at the World Premiere Food Court.

I had a Kid's Spaghetti with Grapes and Applesauce:

DBF had a cheeseburger and fries:

We both thought they were average, but what I really liked about the food court was all the options. I loved that I could get something like spaghetti instead of being stuck with a burger.

The next morning, and every other morning of our trip, I had a Mickey Waffle with Strawberry topping:

Disney08-1-201.jpg

YUM!! I love mickey waffles and they always put lots of strawberries on top.

DBF had the same thing every morning too. I'm not exactly sure what it is. Some kind of omelet or something. As I mentioned earlier in the report, I do not like eggs, so I didn't taste this at all.

The next day our original plan was to go to Animal Kingdom, try to get a walk-up spot at Yak and Yeti for lunch, then spend the rest of the day at Hollywood Studios and have a CS dinner.

We finished up everything we wanted to do at Animal Kingdom and we weren't hungry yet, so we headed over to Hollywood Studios, went on a few rides, then decided to eat lunch at Pizza Planet.

I ordered the Junkyard Meal Deal, which was an individual veggie pizza and a salad. For dessert I got a Mickey Krispie Treat.

DBF ordered the Buzz Meal Deal, which was an individual cheese pizza and a salad. He chose a cookie for dessert.

We both thought it was great for a counter service pizza. It was so much food that I couldn't even finish it all! We liked it here, and would probably go back, especially since we don't really like any other counter service choices in Hollywood Studios.

We like Pizza Planet too, especially that ranch dressing you can get for your salad! Yum. And what a good idea to have a kid's meal when you are a bit hungry, that looked really good.

Laur's princess:

Thanks for the update! We always eat a Pizza Planet. It's certainly a very basic menu, but we have found them to be very consistent. Our 1st trip there was in the early 90's and I don't think they have changed at all. :upsidedow

Later in the day, we had a snack at Dinosaur Gertie's. Nothing special, just vanilla ice cream in a cup, but it was great to have on a hot day.

After spending most of the day at Hollywood Studios, we decided to head over to Magic Kingdom for a few hours. We were hungry, but not hungry enough for dinner, so we went to the Main Street Bakery for a snack.

There were so many great-looking things at the bakery it was hard to choose what we wanted.

DBF had a chocolate muffin:

I had a Cinnamon Bun:

They were both delicious!

Yummy looking snacks, especially that chocolate muffin :goodvibes

Laur's princess:

That night MK closed early, so we ended up just having dinner at our hotel.

DBF had a Hot Italian Sandwich:

I had spaghetti (adult sized this time!):

Disney08-2-056.jpg

I was jealous of DBF's sandwich, it was really good! It was ham and turkey with melted cheese and caesar salad inside.

My spaghetti was decent, but I didn't like the meatballs so I traded them to DBF for a few bites of his sandwich :thumbsup2

The next day we were at Epcot and for lunch we had planned on snacking around World Showcase, but found so many good things in France we just snacked there!

First we each had a strawberry crepe from Crepes des Chefs de France

Disney08-2-075.jpg

Disney08-2-076.jpg

DBF didn't even know what a crepe was  but he loved it. I liked it a lot too, but I wish it had fresh strawberries inside rather than strawberry preserves. It was a little too sweet for me.

We both love cheese and I knew I wanted to try the cheese plate from Boulangerie Patisserie so we shared that:

Disney08-2-077.jpg

I loved the two cheeses in the front. I didn't like the one in the back (closest to the bread), and neither did DBF.

To drink with our lunch, we got something I knew I had to try, the Grey Goose Citron Slush and Grand Marnier Orange Slush from Les Vins de Chefs de France. I love me some Goose :thumbsup2

They were really good. A little weak for my taste, but good!
