Ok, I finally have the pics uploaded and ready to go!
To answer the above poster's question, we were on the dining plan (regular not deluxe).
First up is Sunshine Seasons, where we had lunch on the first day of our trip. I had read a lot of reviews of Sunshine Seasons here on the boards and was really looking forward to trying it since there are so many different things to choose from.
After looking around at all the different sections, I decided on the Turkey and Muenster Cheese on Foccacia with Chipotle Mayonnaise, or as the friendly CM serving it was calling it, Turkey with "Monster Cheese"! DBF was going to order the Ham and Salami Grinder, but when he saw how good my sandwich looked when the CM was cutting it for me, he decided to have the same. After we got our sandwiches, we went over to the pastry area to choose our desserts. I chose the Key Lime Pie, and DBF chose the Soarin' Brulee.
Here is a picture of DBF's tray:
And my tray:
We both LOVED the sandwich. There were lots of fresh, leafy greens on the sandwich along with the turkey and cheese, and the bread was great too. It tasted like something you'd find at Panera.
My key lime pie was huge but it was very light which was a nice surprise. Instead of being creamy like most key lime pies I've had, it had more of a mousse-like texture. I thought that for a counter service dessert it was excellent!
DBF's Soarin' Brulee was great too (I would know, I snuck a spoonful or two!) I like creme brulee best when it's just made so it's still warm, but for a counter service creme brulee it was better than we had expected.
We both loved it here and are definitely planning on returning on our next vacation!
