Great update!! How cool that you got seated with Leanne's friends!! Small world!! And Brent LOVES Kevin's squishing the Epcot ball pic!! He had me take a similar pic when we were in HS!! Too funny!! And the DIS meet looks like sooo much fun. I hate that we weren't able to come. We had a family meet that night at the Poly!! Can't wait to hear about some lady holding Kevin?!

OK, I am going to shamelessly come bouncing in here like I am not 18 pages late . I swear I don't know how I am getting so far behind on all my Dising . LOVE the pictures. The kids had so much fun that night at the meet, as did I. It was really fun to meet up with everyone .

I love that picture of the Boardwalk at night. Such a great shot. Makes me miss the BC. We sat on that beach with that view many times on our 2008 trip. It was easier to watch Illuminations from the beach with two little ones than to stand in the crowds.

So happy for the sneak peek of Teppan Edo. I'm all set for our ressie in Sept.

It's so fun reading about the DIS meet on other people's TR! I'm so glad someone took pictures! For some reason I didn't take any.

I think it's so funny that you saw us eating dinner and then we ran into each other while getting our pictures made on the bridge with France in the background! It really is a small world.

I understand about getting behind, Dana! I haven't been on the DIS or FB or the computer at all since Sunday. I tried on Monday, and it seems as if I'd gotten some nasty virus. It had locked everything out on me. Hopefully, it's gone now, so I've got some major catching up to do!

It was funny---truly that small world! We also ran into Mary and her family in AK. We saw Dana again in MK on Tuesday, and we wound up sitting by Becky and her family while we listened to the Voices of Liberty on that last Friday.

I'm doing great, Sara! Sorry about the update thing. My computer got a virus, and I haven't even turned it on this week until yesterday. Hopefully, it's cured for now.

I would say I'd post an update, but I don't think that will happen today or even tomorrow. We have out-of-town guests coming in the next hour, and they won't leave until tomorrow night. Maybe Monday!

Well, actually we went in December, then March, and then May and it has really set me up for some serious Disney withdrawl. Before, I never had time to have that post-Disney trip blues because I had another trip right around the corner. But now...........there's no trip in sight, and I'm pretty sad!

We are BOTH Bama fans! The entire family. My oldest is a junior in HS, and is currently planning on going to U of A.

When my kids were in kindergarten, and they had color days, they didn't have anything to wear on Orange Day!

ANIMAL KINGDOM---SUNDAY, MAY 23

After our first night’s sleep at Beach Club, we woke up energized, ready to head out to Animal Kingdom the next morning. The park was opening at 9, and I wanted to get there no later than 10 or 15 minutes after park opening. Those of you who’ve read my previous trip reports will know that with my two teenage daughters, that never happens!

Breakfast that morning consisted of cereal or pop-tarts in the room, as we all finished getting ready for the day. We probably headed out to the bus stop around 9:15. *SIGH* Oh, well, this was how it was to be, so I needed to deal with it!

We arrived at Animal Kingdom near 10 a.m.

After grabbing a times guide, the first matter of business was to hike over to Everest to grab fast passes for later.

When we got there, we realized that the stand-by line was only 30 minutes, so we decided to save the FPs for later, and jump in the stand-by line. Everyone was excited to ride EE. We hadn’t gotten to ride during our March trip because it had rained, and then during our NYE trip we had not gone to AK at all.

We usually FP this ride, so it was fun to go through the regular line and look at everything. Disney does such a great job setting the mood for every ride/attraction they do. I really tried to look at everything through the line, and I just happened to look in this cabinet, full of “Yetis”, and I found this little cutie-

After making our way through the line (which was only about 20 minutes), it was our time to ride. Because we’re a family of five, there is always a single person--- (Why do I feel the need to say, “Family means no one gets left behind.”????) Rachel and Reid were riding together and Elizabeth volunteered to ride alone.

I rode with Kevin, and he was feeling very brave with the use of our camera during this ride!
