Yesterday I got a phone call from someone asking me if I had made all my dining plans for my upcoming Disney trip. I don't remember the person's name (I know I should have written it down but I was in the middle of something). Anyway, I don't recall them saying they were from "Disney dining" rather they mentioned some name with "Houstin" in it. I found the phone call weird because I've never received a call from Disney dining before. I just answered "yes", I had all my plans made and they said ok and that was it. Has anyone else recieved a call like this? :confused3

 ...Nevermind, I called Disney directly and they said it was a legitimate call. They are calling people who have the free dining plan to remind them that making the ADRs ahead of schedule is important.

Glad to hear it was a legit call.

Last year, I made an ADR for RFC. I wasn't aware at the time they weren't on the DDP. I made all my ADR's, and the CM verified I was on the plan. Two days later, I got a call from the same CM that she had let me make the ADR for RFC and wanted me to call her back so that she could verify that I knew it wasn't on the plan, and make an alternative ADR if necessary.

I was very impressed. They get a ton of calls everyday, and it was very nice of them to do follow ups on things that may cause problems with their guests.

nope have not recived a call and we are going in 2 weeks :rolleyes1

I too have not been called, and I leave in 11 days. I made my ADR's about 100 days in advance, but they did not ask me for my resort or any other information, so I've been wondering if WDW has put two and two together and linked my resort reservation with the ADR's or not...

I got a call last week, making sure I had gotten my airline tickets, voucher for ME, and if I needed to make any more ADR's. The CM was Chris, and we had a wonderful chat! Always great to talk to Disney!

There are a couple of more people who got this same call over on the theme park board so I guess they really are just randomly calling people to make sure they have their ADRs. Top notch customer service I think! :thumbsup2
