It's back up. I could not get it to refresh all evening but it seems to be working now.The Disney Dining Scout does not seem to be working right now
Yes.
These services are absurd.
Book your trip ideally ahead and use the online system like the rest of us. Even during these bot-ran services, we still secured all the hardest ADR's to get, at 180 days and even 100 days.

Not everyone has the luxury of planning their trip that far out. If I want to pay someone $8 to look for a reservation for me, it's no one else's business. Disney Dining Buddy did not make reservations for you. They alerted you to the open reservation. You were then directed to the Disney Dining website. I don't see anything wrong with this service. They did not book reservations ahead of time, and then sell them, like some other services may have done.
It's absurd to not understand that not everyone has the luxury of being able to book at 180+10
It sounds like the issues for these "generally reasonable" services may be that the repeated pinging of the system may be putting a load on the server that it's not designed to handle, and that's what Disney is responding to.If they're truly just ALERTING you to take action, then sure, I support them 100%.
There is little likelihood of that as there is no requirement to carry your ID to the parksSo, I wonder what will happen to those who purchased an already made ADR.....if Disney starts asking to see ID for the name on the reservation some people will be in a bit of trouble. And THEN....they'll charge the credit card of the scalper for a "no show". Divine justice, lol.
Disney Dining Buddy didn't make a res in a fake name, just sent an alert. So, I wonder what will happen to those who purchased an already made ADR.....if Disney starts asking to see ID for the name on the reservation some people will be in a bit of trouble.
